I know someone that has this and it turns out if your ever stuck for hoover bags you can use a hepaflow bag as well!! Will also keep the inside clean as well

I have a picture of the green one in a catalog. On the same page is a purple upright, model 33, which was only made from 1962-64, I think. So the Portable was made from the early 60s to probably the late 70s. Someone said 1980 or 81. All I know for sure is that I saw it with the 33 in the early 60s. Oh, and the font on the front and on the attachments looks much more modern on the blue than on the green 60s model, so it’s surely a later model.

Use your vintage vacuum as often as you want providing it works OK and is electrically safe. I only use mine from time to time and use modern vacuums more regularly.

What website can go to for vintage Hoover vacuum parts? I have a Hoover portable 2110 and can’t find the accessories for it like the floor nozzle

There is no specific website you can go to for vintage parts, you just have to search a lot of them to find the part you need and even then there is no guarantee they will have them in stock. I tend to search ebay for used and new/old parts for my vacuums, but it can take a long time to finally find the parts you need.

Question: The vacuum is 120V only, how did it work at your home's 220V or 240V? I cannot imagine that you have a transformer that can handle the vacuum's AMPS power!

This vacuum reminds me of my favourite redhead - LUCILLE BALL! Does anybody remember The Lucy Show episode where Lucy took a job as a door-to-door vacuum saleswoman?? It was a vacuum just like the one in this video, only in the Lucy show episode, she called it the "Handy Dandy Vacuum Cleaner"!! LOL.

That was the LAST Hoover portable from 1978! The end of an era!=(...There were 3 on that range, yours was the bottom of the range, there was a mint green that has a cord reel, then a camel tan model that was the TOL, had the better rug floor tool, and cord reel, and big wheels.

@@MrFlynnyo , the Hoover portable was introduced in 1962, and finally ended in 1978. There were about 17 different models in that time. If you were to look at the first, or even the ones made around 1970, you would know what I am talking about. Furthermore, there was a Hoover Convertible (Estate model U4103), and a Power Drive Dial.A.Matic that were both in the matching shade of Sea Blue.
