As a Princep Seniorus of the Legio Tempestus, with two maniples (28mm) maniples under my command, I’m Loving this video. It’s nice to see the recognition that not all loyalist died on Mars. Orestes Colonia appeared to stay loyal through the heresy and they Legio Endures.

That's right! Legio Tempestus shows up in Titanicus by Dan Abnett, and their new homeworld is the Forge World of Orestes during the Sabbat Worlds Crusade in the 41st Millennium. I believe they had to call upon Legio Invicta for aid against a Traitor Legio. Awesome story.

I've been devouring all the 40k lore videos I can get my hands on and yours are by far my favorite. The details, large and small, that you work into your writing and performance are wonderful and fantastically immersive. I love learning more about 40k lore but at this point I'm even more invested in the little bits of world building you've been weaving in for our dear, overworked, Oculus. It was a true joy to listen to another of your Titan Legion videos today while recovering from surgery, Oculus. I was in a debilitating accident last January and had surgery a week ago to reroute some nerves in my arm in hopes to make it work again. I discovered your channel when "Pilgrimage to Holy Terra" came up in my recommendations and was instantly hooked on your videos. I knew a bit about WH 40K, but not much on the lore. You convinced me to read some of the Horus Heresy books. Your Legio Titanicus videos are some of my favorite; but, regardless of my favoritism, *all* of yoir videos evoke an unparalleled majestic atmosphere and enthralling storytelling gravitas. Thanks again for your videos. I hope to become a patron once medical bills feel less like the Emperor's due and back to consistent employment again.

Poor writing. But the in-universe explanation is honor. The First were the First. They were the older brother to all legions, and held themselves to a higher standard. They believe that if the other Legions had found out that even they, the unblemished First Legion, had traitors then there would be no foundation upon which the Space Marines could be trusted. So they hid their traitors. They claim that Caliban was lost in battle. They claim that no member of the Legion ever fell. And then they had to maintain the lie when the Fallen reappeared.

GW dramatically shrunk the Titan model so it can fit in 28mm just want to sell models man. Critically think why for many years Space Marines and regular old Guardsmen were the SAME size on the tabletop for DECADES despite thousands of pages of text, pictures, historical documents describing them as being giant 9ft tall behemoths. Only now with the “Primaris” models have Space Marines been scaled to more accurately reflect what they’ve always been described as in the text for decades. Model scale and true lore scale have ZERO correlation. Titan’s fire shells as large as battle tanks. The warlord Titan is atleast 800 meters tall. It makes Godzilla look like a 3yr old toddler. TITANS are the embodiments of the GOD MACHINE. They are Reaper sized monstrosities from Mass Effect and they sound like them too. GLORY TO THE OMNISSIAH!!!!
