Today was MADNESS! We crossed the Nepal to India border into absolute CHAOS. It's Ed's first time travelling in India so we give you our first impressions of food, the streets and of course the Indian people! It's our first impressions of India on the whole.

We're in India today and are travelling in India for the next 3 months so subscribe and stay tuned for our adventures.
Today we departed Chitwan National Park with our Dragoman crew and headed for India! We're all very excited to be heading to a new country. Somewhere we've heard so much hype about. We arrived at the border in the morning, got stamped out of Nepal and were in no-mans land until we could get stamped into India.
To say it was a chaotic time would be an understatement. The internet was down, so we had some time to kill. We went and tried our first EVER local Indian foods, had some chai, met some lovely people and enjoyed the madness that was the border town.
We jumped back on our Dragoman Overland truck and headed to the city of Gorakphur. We were lucky enough to have the first taste of Tandoori Chai, met some local Indian families and had a great time.

Here are some Tourist Places i recommend which are Unique : - Ooty (A Serene Hilly Town in South India, Famous for its Tea Plantations) - Darjeeling (A Backpacker's retreat in East India, Famous for its View of Himalayas) - Goa (A Coastal Holiday destination in West India, Famous for its Holiday Cruises) - Jodhpur (A Historical City in North India, Famous for its Forts and Desert Cities) Hope you travel to these places instead of crowded cities like Mumbai, Delhi or Calcutta, Which every Tourist normally goes to these days.

Hey guys! Just discovered your videos recently and i'm really loving them! Hope you're enjoying your travels wherever in the world you are now :) QUESTION: My girlfriend and I will be travelling around India and Nepal for 6 months and I will be bringing my MacBook with me. I would love to know if you have any tips for keeping your laptops safe? I guess the thing I am most concerned about is it getting damaged in my bag, what with the bag most likely being thrown on the back of tuc tucs and coaches etc. What steps do you take to make sure your laptops are safe from being damaged? and are there any other things i should maybe think about? Hey! So great to hear! You're going to have an absolute blast in Nepal. As for the laptops, we usually carry our laptops in our carrybags / daypacks which we take in the Tuk Tuk or on the bus with us. We never put our laptops / valuables in our rucksacks. In case your interested use this bag www.wandrd.com/collections/shop/products/prvke and never had a problem (I wouldn't throw it around with your laptops in it though hahaha) Nepal was pretty safe from our experience. We didn't have any problems with shady people or theft. Just take the usual precautions and you should be fine. E.g. Lock the door / locker if you're in a dorm, hide it if you're super worried about a place. But we both travel with macbooks and have never had an issue. My biggest tip would be to get a quality day bag and put it in that when you're moving around. Put it in your rucksack if it's staying in a hotel. Let us know how you go!!! P.s. just saw you're also going to India - I'd watch a few videos on popular scams and safety. and ONLY eat the street food if you WATCH it being cooked. We were both vegetarian the whole time we were in India and didn't get sick once!

@@SallyAndEd you missed one of best place to visit near Gorakhpur... That called "kushinagar" .. it's around 50 km from Gorakhpur.. it takes one hour to reach... It is the place where "Gautam Budhha" died... He is the man who started "Buddhism" religion... Here you will see very beautiful Buddhism temples from different countries... Such as Japan, Thailand, China, Shri Lanka etc... And Museum... Search on Google "kushinagar Gautam Budhha".... You will see it. Daily 800-1000 foreign visitors come here...

I request foreigners not to stay at Paharganj at Delhi or at old Delhi areas as these are very worst place in delhi.old delhi areas are worst.you will get all thieves,illeterate and slum ppl over there.please don't visit even if you are foreigners and even in group also just because of less price hotel accommodation.better you should visit south Delhi areas where you can get good accommodation and food.as a foreigner you should be very careful while visiting to rajasthan,delhi,utttar Pradesh, madhya pradesh,Haryana, Bihar etc northern states especially.dial to 100 number from your phone to police if you fall in trouble.please avoid to meet and mingle with strangers.south indian states are safer for foreigners.its always better to avoid staying at old delhi areas.uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and kashmir,Ladakh in north india,north eastern states,south Indian states,west part of indian states are better place to visit for foreigners.if you are traveling at Delhi then please use metro train for easy transportation.instead of cannaught place(CP) it's always better to visit Khan market or south Delhi areas.

I request foreigners not to stay at Paharganj at Delhi or at old Delhi areas as these are very worst place in delhi.old delhi areas are worst.you will get all thieves,illeterate and slum ppl over there.please don't visit even if you are foreigners and even in group also just because of less price hotel accommodation.better you should visit south Delhi areas where you can get good accommodation and food.as a foreigner you should be very careful while visiting to rajasthan,delhi,utttar Pradesh, madhya pradesh,Haryana, Bihar etc northern states especially.dial to 100 number from your phone to police if you fall in trouble.please avoid to meet and mingle with strangers.south indian states are safer for foreigners.its always better to avoid staying at old delhi areas.uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and kashmir,Ladakh in north india,north eastern states,south Indian states,west part of indian states are better place to visit for foreigners.if you are traveling at Delhi then please use metro train for easy transportation.instead of cannaught place(CP) it's always better to visit Khan market or south Delhi areas.
