Morning Gabe. When I was last in Rajasthan I went to Būndi, on the eastern edge of the state. Pencil it in if you’ve time. Pure amazing Rajasthan without any of the crowds but incredible stepwells and fort. I stayed in the Elephant Stable Haveli right under the fort and can’t recommend it enough. Really great wee city.

For people who don’t know about US deplorable public transportation and astronomical cost of Ubers and taxis, a privately owned car is essential. …at least where I live. Good that you have a car waiting for you. Do you have a method of putting insurance on hold while you travel or do you pay it even when not using it? The dunes are so lovely. “…went to university…” You’re losing your American linguistic conventions! 😄 Jim Morrison has a great speaking voice and I agree the poetry on An American Prayer is good stuff.
