@@willowbark5649 you can pull out the cushion from the brush very easily without damaging the brush itself, and from the back side you can slide out the extra spike rows you don't need. It's fairly easy, there is no glue or anything involved. Then you can reposition the cushion with the rows you need.

@@imawakemymindisalive13 when you've been fighting your curls (straightening, blowouts etc), they forget which way to go, so first results aren't what you hope for. Thank you for posting this! I also have 2B waves & bought a Denman brush and tried following tutorials posted by those with curlier hair where they pretty much run the brush through like curling a piece of ribbon. Well, doing it that way only straightened out my waves. I’m really happy to finally find another way to use the same brush which works much better for my hair’s natural texture.

I have fine/thin hair, some wave (was borderline curly before having babies) and if I use any conditioner, it's lank and oily quickly. If I use enough product (of any kind, so far) for it to actually effect my hair, it has a similar effect... If I perm it, I can do pretty much anything to it and it looks stunning! I'm trying to embrace my waves, though, and it's so different from my past hair. The only thing consistent is the thin/fine part 🤣 Born with 99% straight hair, started growing out wavy/curly at 11, first term pregnancy (at 22) my hair went 90% straight. Now at 30 it's wavy when wet. No matter what I do, it's FLAT once it dries. I don't have the Denman brush yet. I've diffused (following specialists tips who have curly or wavy hair, like India and Mell), air dried, various curl products (mousse, gel, cream, etc). Anyone have IDEAS for a girl aching for even some waves 😭

@@ElizabethDohertyThomas I can't do a side part because it's where I have the worst spots :( Also, this reminds me that I actually tried this method using a similar brush last week and it was SUCH a huge failure... I don't have enough hair to be able to actually fill the space between the bristles and stick in the brush long enough to make any swirling motion... So I used my fingers and I ended up getting exactly 7 by trying to make as many as I could! 🤣😭

I love the denman brush I have thick wavy hair the only thing I don't like to us is to much product on my hair but you made it so simple to do with very little product thanks for the demonstration I think I will try it next time 😊👍

Almost 50 years of age here with a 25 year old daughter, guess you're never too old to learn new tricks. Natural curly with frizz, so I'm trying this; thank you! 💝

Love the look! I use the Denman brush now and then for a fancier look. I kind of pair it with finger coiling and a ton of gel/mousse and it literally comes out looking like I used a curling wand!

Sometimes I use leave-in, foam, gel styling cream and a drop or 2 of oil or two to scrunch the crunch OR I use leave-in and detangling spray. Do you and have fun playing around and figuring out what works for YOU. Olaplex has made my hair feel so much less damaged than it's been since childhood. I trim it every 4-8 weeks too and that's made a huge difference.

Ok. Firstly. The. EVA NYC products sound unreal, hopefully there’s a way to get them in Ireland. (But not through a UK distributor so we don’t pay mountains of import tax, pls distribute through France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, literally any EU country!) Secondly. FINALLY a video about my type of hair. And thirdly, RUSHING OUT RIGHT NOW TO GET A DENMAN BRUSH! AGAIN! I had one for years, can’t find it. Need to get it back in my life. This video makes soooo much sense. I particularly love the “frizzy hair is curly hair crying out for moisture”. The last time I air dried my hair, it went fluffy and frizzy. Rushing out the door to my hairdresser she commented on the “weird orange patches”. Yeah, I had the curling iron too hot and burned the middle section of my hair ALL THE WAY AROUND in my rush to curl my hair before getting to my hairdresser 😭. I didn’t notice the temp was up at its highest 😭😭😭 So much for avoiding store bought colour through the last lockdown. I managed to reach my hair all by myself. Packing away the hot tools as I write this and I will be using the Denman method from now on. Thank you so much 😘

By the way, you look absolutely beautiful. Your eyes are mesmerizing. I came here to find a solution to my wavy, frizzy hair, but got more blown away by your beautiful personality and face:) Stay blessed.

I used to wear a middle part all the time up until two and a half years ago, I always thought it didn't look right with my widows peak. I now switch up my side part especially after finding out I also have wavy hair, it just looks a lot better to me.

I love how the top of your hair at the crown gives lift away from your face (I cannot make my hair do this and stay all day). On your next hair tutorial, will you show how you do that? Or even a few shorts with different options for the front of your hair. Just a thought. 😉
