Most honest review of Racer uptil now. I have watched almost 6-7 videos of different youtuber and it seemed to me like everybody is interested in telling only downfalls of the car but this guy praised the good things and also narrated what is missing in the car. As per my opinion,by keeping the name Racer, Tata motors would never have meant that car to be driven on track and to be used for racing purpose. But all have taken the name wrongly and expected this to have performance of Ferrari. So they got dissapointed.

At a race track as technical (mostly anti-clock wise turns) as COAST Coimbatore, the car is supposed to be mostly in third gear (13-14 turns out of 16 turns) Did you expect me to drive it in 5th/6th gear or 1st. There were only two turns where it had to be driven in 2nd gear, which of course we did. As they say bina pata huye gyaan dena jyada asaan hai. Aap bolo toh agali baar se track briefing ka video bhi daal dein? Looks like you know that track better than Narain Karthikeyan who helped build this track and briefed us before our session and gave us hot laps.

Top model of this vs base/2nd base in city or verna would be something interesting. Both can manage relatable good mileage 16-18, can go 0-100 in similar or less time, you get more car for your money and both are 5 star rated good resale etc etc so i honestly don't fully grasp the hatchback reaching 10lakh mark

Does Tata lie? Why would they rate their car lower than a Hyundai in outright acceleration. COAST is more of an anti-clockwise track and it proves only one thing that Altroz can carry higher speeds in corners. That doesn’t make it the fastest hatch in the segment. Aisa hi hai toh straights mein Tata 0-100kmph over 11 seconds kaise claim kar rahi hai. It of course can carry higher speeds in corners is something known to everyone, I too said the same thing in my video that on such track Altroz would beat N Line. But N Line is faster in straights. Ab aap bina video dekhe comment kar rahe ho toh uska main kya karun?

konsi companies perfect hai India me batao jara?? suzuki ke engine reliable hai pocket friendly hai service acchi deti hai lekin safety day by day deteriorate ho rahi hai, skoda volkswagen reliable engine fun to drive cars safety deti hai lekin uski maintenance cost is too high and low resells value MG cars are decent cars feature loaded but low economy and average performance with low resell value and also decent expensive maintenance Kia good performance and feature loaded but high service value and low safety but good resell value toyota are much reliable best in safety low maintenance high resell value but expensive and way too behind for offering features Mahindra good and reliable engine some of the cars are not that much safe decent maintenance but trickey while purchasing as most of the variant's are too basic with mid range cost while top models are expensive compared to the other segment. so now tell me everyone has some of the other problems every other companies develop themselves none of the companies can give you complete package.

I still feel this is failed to be the next honda jazz , I cannot find anything that's as good and why are these so expensive, can't we stop praising a brand and demand lowering taxes on these cars from 30 to 50% directly on the ex showroom price. Criticise the tax structure too if you feel the manufacturer is doing it's best , or settle for less. Imagine if there was a price break-up for this car : manufacturing cost is 6lac , taxes 3.5 lac so ex showroom : 9.5 lac . Does this sound great?
