New to using Indian Clubs, these videos are great for me as a beginner. You’ve got a new subscriber.

If an elderly gentleman be permitted to give compliment. Your instructions were clear and unambiguous. And you manage to make performance of routine quite enjoyable. Your grace of movement flawless. Kudos young lady and I wish success in your future endeavours. 🧐🤔💯💪👊👍

As a teacher you do a far better job than other online Indian Club instructors. Totally accessible. But I guess whatever you feel comfortable with is what really matters -- and that's your great attribute. I'm still on my 'Amazon pair' of ICs-- plastic, black and cheap-- and what an inexpensive workout they offer which can be done in the limited space and comfort of your own lounge room. Just like yours.

Thank Dave! How is your practice going? Anything I can help in upcoming videos?

@@lea_shiny I took up Indian Clubs as an adjunct to the staff -- biangan/jo -- and like them because you can easily freestyle. I do my thing outdoors too -- on the shoreline, in the bush...going for the ambience. With vibration earphones and music via Bluetooth*. A lot of folk swing the clubs with their ankles together but I reckon thats' not grounding yourself. You miss out on some posture tweaks and movement awareness. You also downgrade your breathing options because you breathe higher up the chest. You can also move around with the clubs too -- and that is not a thing either but then why not?. But a lot of traditions with hand items like this do embrace whole body motion more. Such as in the classic gyms of Persia/Iran where a lot of the workout is around a pit accompanied by music and poetry. Just saying... And women are better club swingers -- and kettlebell lifters -- than men because the technique of the movement is better. There's no strength compensation. Nor rush for machismo. Best technique I've seen: So this brings me to any help. How to structure the session. How to integrate one rotational move with another. Integration for an end result rather than segments. Such as this wonderful session: tinyurl.com/2cgp8awn The other issue is injury and pain. Indian Clubs will pull your shoulders and wrists about and you will be sore for a few days if you give into the flow too much. So I've got a pair of the Amazons (as you did) , but your current pair --, purchased where? -- may be lighter. They certainly have a better pivot. So beginner club swingers really should start light. The go-to size is supposedly 1lb -- 440 grams-- but that's far too heavy to start with. In stick work you are using much lighter pieces of wood when you learn to spin. In my experience, I'd start with sticks to work on the wrist'. Despite my experience with staffs, the Indian Clubs I purchased really impact on my shoulders and wrists because of the peripheral drag. * In Malaysia and Indonesia, stick workouts -- Tonkat or Toya Silat -- are performed to gamelan music. And they are often a feature of weddings. Worth while checking out too is Tamil SilaMBAM using light rattan. tinyurl.com/2262lcwj

The movement is written in your body and you have the gift of transmitting and teaching it in a way that I want to follow. :-) By teaching and helping others, you also develop yourself. Don't stop and continue to develop your channel and you will be successful at it. Thank you for the lessons you have posted so far.
