I started losing my hair when I was 23. The mental stress was unimaginable in the beginning. Most people I knew started making fun of me or treated me like I was a different person. Then I completely shaved off my head. I'm purpose driven now, and I don't easily get intimidated because I take whatever life throws at me. The same people that made fun of me now respect me because I ended up becoming an artist. People will look for every opportunity to make you feel less of a man, never take it personally. Everybody is suffering in some way or the other. Don't be hard on yourself for something that is outside of your control. A lot of people don't have a lot of things. Appreciate the gift of life. Embrace the change and be a good human being.

Am 24 and I started losing hair since I was 20. In the past one year, I lost 80% of my hair from the crown part. Now I look like a 34 year old guy. Most of my cousins call me uncle. Many of my friends call me grandfather. As am a govt job aspirant, many of my relatives ask me, ' what will I do with a job now since I lost all my hair?' 'who will marry me?' and all those shit. And ofcourse, some of my relatives keep reminding me that I've gone bald during public gatherings or family gatherings, as if I didn't know that am going bald. And because of this, my confidence has dropped beyond zero. I avoid facing people of my age. I avoid going outside with friends and group. I try to stay alone as much as I can. because I have no confidence left. The more I try to accept myself, the more the people let me down. Still surviving with the hope that when I get a job, I'll move away from these toxic people. When I look back, just two three years back, I cry for myself seeing what I was and what I am now. Society is leaving no stone unturned to make me feel even worse. But am optimistic that times will change. I'll find a society which will accept me in a way that I am and that will appreciate me for my talent and not my hair. Just need some motivation and confidence 🙂

@@sandeeppaul8395 exactly. I always try to remind myself that it's impossible to be attractive to everyone, in fact, probably most people won't find you attractive, but you only need to score one 😜; and it's much more important to look in the mirror and love and be satisfied with yourself, then to care what other people think about you, but it's much easier said than done ☺️. And things like body dysmorphia are real and serious illnesses. I look at zac Efron, who was a really beautiful guy, yet when you look at him nowadays, he clearly had some extensive plastic surgery done to his jaw, cheek bones and face altogether, making him, in my opinion, much less attractive and looking like a decade older. But I guess he didn't like the way he looked, crazy world 🤷. Take care

People need to understand just because you feel comfortable with your shaved head that doesn't mean others feel it too, as a person who is experiencing severe hair fall (myself included) and many other options have failed, this seems like a good solution. It all comes down to personal choice like the host of this video. So please don't criticize others who are going through this route cuz you don't know what they are feeling inside. 🙏😐

if you haven't been on dutasteride for over a year, with micro needling & finasteride applications as well, it'd be foolish to go for a hair transplant. inversely if those last few things didn't work for you, it would be foolish to undergo a transplant as your scalp will certainly reject them. also, after the hair transplant surgery you'll have to be on dutasteride for the rest of your life to keep what you gained. Good luck

Personal feelings are overrated. People regretting decisions after making them is indicative of that. You dont really know what you need, you just get what you want and chances are you feel no change. Your confidence is dependent on something arbitrary. Focus on hair loss will not stop when you get a hair transplant. At best, it will shift for a while. At worst it will extend. To the nose. The chubby stomach. The crooked nose. The droopy eyes. The saggy skin. You get the idea. The only reason this hair transplant method is advertised as is, is because it seems benign in the hands of a professional and with decent outcome. So the bar is low to do it and all you need is some money. We can see the travesty of this reality in the video. Men who objectively have worse physical features than their balding head are getting hair plugs. I understand it, but it's dumb. When you are old and saggy, or just ugly, getting the best hair ever wont do anything. Something that needs to be minded, you cannot just get hair plugs and that's the fix. First off, you need to be aware that you will have to repeat the procedure several times, about every 5-15 years. Plus, almost every MD will tell you, you need to get on meds. Because otherwise your hair loss will just continue (except the spots with the transplanted hair). Which will look even worse then before. So you need to take finasteride or minoxidil, possibly both forever, and when you stop hair loss will kick in quick.

@@Honestly_Speaking_Is being bald a guilt? Did you decide to be born with good genes or bad genes for baldness? No. So don't treat people as they're responsabile for their physical aspect because it cannot be changed (there's still no definitive and sustainable cure for hair loss). Good looking people didn't deserved it. They're just born like that. In the same way, people that society don't consider good looking didn't decide to be born with that aspect. We all come into the world without merit and without guilt. Maybe your not bald, but If you were, I bet that you'd never said something like that. @@RAJUBHAI-ww7em Humans are product of evolution similarly, thoughts and standard which prevails in the society are also result of changes which happens in the society, just search what are the beauty standard in 1800, than what are in 1850, than in 1900, and so on with 50 year break, you will see the change yourself, once fat and chubby body was sigh of beauty, which is not today, how this happened? This happened with the coming of new beauty products and cosmetics industy. In india this obsession is due too two factors first i already mentioned above second is 200 year of colonial rule which made us to internalize that milky white skin and tall height, with long hair is better because that was the skin of our colonial ruler and mind's of people like you still need to be decolonised from this colonial hangover. Your understanding of attraction is very narrow, you need to learn about human sexualty and how it works. Short men and bald men not preferred in dating who told you this and in which survey you read this, i believe may be in some watsapp survey or some youtube, any men who lacks confidence and not comfortable in his own skin is not preferred by any women. Don't worry about my dating life, I'm having a great dating life and lots of women found me attractive. And you need to come out of this mind set that if you look good, you can date any girl, if you lacks confidence than no one will date you. And still don't get supply and demand logic. 😏

Hair transplant is the most unnecessary surgery I’ve heard of. Only people who have zero self-confidence and are bullied left and right do these surgeries. The better thing than getting a hair surgery is to remove negative influences from your life. Get rid of those toxic friends, move out elsewhere, or simply shave it all off. Good luck bro

We have come this far in our life where we need to please our society about how we live. People might deny it but its true that what we do, we do it to please others even if it's not comfortable. We wear tight clothes which we later on change with comfortable clothes when no one is around. Just like people undergo plastic surgeries to look good for others. Why do we care so much what others think about us? It's the perspective we have created. People will comment no matter what you do. If I am shorter than the average good looking height, will I change my height and undergo dangerous surgery to please others so that they will compliment me that i am tall and handsome. A big No. So stop pleasing others and live your life as you want to. What if you are bald? No problem. Just be a good human being, that's what is important. People should love you for ho you are and not for how you look. You Mom is not gonna leave you if you go bald or if you even lose your leg.

Since then I have been doing just fine. But yes, my dating life for sure has been affected. I believe majority of the girls don't want to date or marry me. If anyone reading this, my personal experience to slow down hair fall in very early stage: I started loosing hair in 2 nd year of clg due to hereditary problem 1st thing i did was shaving off my hair I shave my hair at least twice a year sometimes more After shaving I start oiling my scalp(any natural oil coconut, mustard, amla etc) Use dermaroller once in a day or two and after that oiling Stopped using shampoo and gel shampoo only like once in 2 months Cause in my experience: less blood flow in the scalp area, DHT , pollution and change of water Its been 6-7 years and after comparing my old pics i can say i slowed down hair fall dramatically

Thanks for sharing your own experience. It's important to start early, but also not to have unrealistic expectations. I am also struggling with this problem. I've started sleeping better, eating better, stressing less, eliminated sugar - affecting blood circulation (I used to eat a lot of it before and that's when the hair loss increased), I bathe in cold water twice a week and most importantly I use a daily scalp massage along with a conditioner to improve circulation in the scalp.(anwen grow us tender) and I also use onion juice (I plan to change to onion oil or rosemary oil or similar to block DHT) . I don't recommend onion juice if someone is not shaved very short - it's hard to get rid of the smell(there are ways on the internet how to get rid of the smell but I haven't tested their effectiveness). After 12 months I can see the results, they are not some big but visible. It is worth trying...

As someone in their 60’s I can tell U that n the grand scheme of things losing your hair is a hurdle but it doesn’t need to be debilitating. Debilitating is losing your ability to see or walk or live a healthy life due to chronic illness. Ultimately U have to find your true self from within not from outside. I cannot control the world but I can control myself and my own perception about myself. As someone who hates myself when I was young because I didn’t look like people I knew, I learned to improve on the good qualities I possessed and as I started to look at the world differently, the world looked and treated me with respect and admiration. The world is a really big place and as I expanded my environment I learned that for the most part people are not focusing on you they r focusing on themselves. Consider that Losing your hair is not the worse thing that can happen to u n life but despondency over your hair loss is detrimental to your mental and physical health. It is hard going through the world hating yourself so stop.

When I opened the book, the first thing I saw was the above old, Syrian Proverb. I haven't sweated the little things of life since.

Literally the best thing I've done for myself. Every guy over 35 should get their Testosterone checked, and a hair transplant if they need it. I did a few videos on my channel about mine if anyone wants to check them out.

Seems mad to me. I had long hair until 25, but was starting to thin on top with a growing bald spot. Decided to shave it all off at 25, and not looked back. It's just hair, doesn't change who I am, and definitely not worth clinging on to, especially through expensive and risky procedures.

Some of them aren’t botched they just didn’t treat the problem that caused them to loose their hair in the first place. Getting a hair transplant is only part of it. You gotta treat the hair loss so you don’t loose the donor hair

Having great hair > shaving your head >>>>>>> having shitty hair/balding Go bald guys, you'll be fine. I was stressed for a few years 24x7 because my hair looked practically scorched and male pattern baldness. Saying fuck it and shaving my head was a such a relief. Like a huge burden got lifted from my shoulders. Dont get me wrong, i do wish i still had my hair.. I had great hair up till a point. But then it stopped being great and age and genetics kicked in. It was a very depressing time. I wouldn't want that for anybody. I also think more male Indian celebrities need to endorse their balding. If every khan is getting a hair transplant then of course it subconsciously makes the viewer feel like their is something wrong with them/they are not attractive if the don't have hair. And perhaps there is truth to this.. You might not be appealing to a certain demographic of women anymore but trust me, there will be a whole another demographic that opens up that is not represented on TV.

I started losing hair since 23. I have non round, oval type face with pointed nose which is not suitable for bald head. Still i never felt insecure. I thank Hollywood, likes of Jason Statham for rocking his bald look. Also i used to live in Canada where the male beauty is decided not by hair but body posture, fitness, manliness, jawline , face symmetry etc

Indian men aren't risking their lives. The procedure is tried, tested, safe very popular now, our doctors are highly competent and today science has come far enough to solve all these problems at a decent rate. So it's up to the individual as to what he wants to do...

I have also lost hair but I shaved my head instead of hair transplant.. why should we care about other people’s approval

Cosmetic surgeries and procedures have seen a massive growth in our country. Hair transplants, Botox, implants, permanent makeup and what not. There are plenty of “aesthetic surgeons” in the market today, most of them aren’t even equipped to do the procedures correctly, unlicensed, unprofessional. Not saying everyone isn’t doing their jobs correctly, there are good docs too. I’ve seen failed permanent makeups, for those who don’t know about permanent makeup, it’s mostly done on eyebrows, lips and cheeks. Receding eyebrows and hairline are corrected by giving them volume. It is done by a special needle, like the one used in tattooing, although the ink is same. In short, it’s like a tattoo only. No grafting or any other surgical procedure is done. Small hair like strands are made to add more volume to the eyebrows or scalp. Mind you, it’s a tough procedure, obviously because it is related to someone’s facial image and structure. I’m myself a tattoo artist, but I refrain from doing any permanent makeup, although I was heavily insisted by my mentor to try it out, according to him it’s more expensive than a tattoo, the procedure can milk out more money from the client. I’m absolutely not confident to play with someone’s facial image and I’m not a medical certified professional. I even suggest that there should be a licensing and regulatory body in the tattoo industry too. What I’m trying to say is, there are multiple tattoo artists and beauticians who just attend “workshops”. practice on artificial skins and are ready to launch. The saddest part is, no one is licensed or trained under medical experts. Quality of ink, needles are highly neglected in most of the places. Infection, fading, dis figuration of face due to botched up eyebrow work is common and I’ve seen clients fighting and taking legal actions. It’s a humble request and I urge everyone who is planning to do these types of procedures, be it surgical or no surgical. For god sake please do your research, don’t just go with the cheapest option available. Do your research, enquire about everything used in the procedure and all the history and background of the expert, communication is the key and it’s better to be safe than sorry. It’s a medical procedure, you can’t afford things going in the wrong direction. I recently visited an “aesthetic clinic” for my trial session for a tattoo removal, the doc seems to be very confident and knowledgeable. The procedure started and I was blindfolded, just to avoid any problem happened to my vision by the laser. Procedure started and I was okay with the pain, after a while I started to feel some pain and discomfort. I requested the doc to please take a break and stop, had a burning sensation on the treated part, in order to pacify me from the pain the doc was kind of tapping gently on the treated part. I removed my eyepatch and was shocked to see, the doc was not wearing gloves and was touching the treated part where blood was oozing out. The next thing I did was to consult another doc 😂. So my lads, please do your research.
