Indian Motorcycle sent me a 2025 Indian Scout 101

Aesthetically, looks great. Kudos to the design team. Windscreen flopping around at higher highway speeds 11:52 cheapened my first impression of it. At a $17,000 price point (before tax, title, dealer, doc fees) a floppy windscreen should't be an issue right off the showroom floor. Indian, please put a thicker mill plastic up there. Gotta say again, it's a great looking bike that should appeal to a lot of riders.

Not fan of the stock exhaust pipe, but that is a simple fix. Looks awesome overall.

I was trying to decide between the HD Lowrider and anything else and I’ve ridden sport bikes for years and I ordered the 2025 101 and picked it up on Aug 7, 2024 and I love this bike! I’m already taking it in for the break-in oil change and I am impressed with this bike! I like it more than the three HD’s I test rode and as soon as I get a chance…Indian Cheiftain or Sport Chief will sit alongside my new 101.

The Vrod has the saaame 60° 1250cc engine with same 9k redline. The 101 is a copycat Vrod but Vrod has more HP. 101 is whack.

as a scout owner, the bike is super reliable, balanced, handles, aesthetically primo, so this 101 is just a well done upgraded version of an already great product. they will sell tons of 101s. nice job. you get all the love from HD and Indian? my mane! 🎉

Was the windshield on the mini fairing flexing at highway speed ? Had a chance to try one at Gettysburg Indian rally. Did not take it out because, as a taller rider I didn't think my boots would fit under the controls. I'll keep watching to see what your impressions are.

Marvel, I am on the fence about purchasing the 101 and there are two issues that have been reported about it that I hope you can clear up. There have been several posts about the 101 stalling and there have been posts that the Ride Command gas gauge has been problematic in reflecting accurate gas level readings. Since you are going to have this a few weeks would you keep us updated on these issues. Thank you!

I think the gas thing is because the tank is so small and where pickup is. The gas is always moving around throwing off level. I have a sport chief and if it's on its kick stand it will say it's empty but be half tank or more when riding. The stalling issue and being brand new is why I picked up a SC until some mods and everything is worked out.

It’s a little off, showed me “low fuel” with my slightly inclined driveway but pretty accurate.

Hey man, you mentioned you are a shorter rider how tall are you? I am 5'7. I sat on this bike and the handlebar felt so far away due to the long tank. I always thought of cruisers as more comfortable seating position, but my MT09 is way more upright than this bike, I felt like I was leaning on top of the tank to reach the bars. I know the seating position changes a bit when riding a bike, but does it feel better when riding than when stopped?

It was a toss up for me and went w/ SC. Nothing is available for the scout and how the Indian aftermarket goes no one seems to be in a rush either unfortunately.

Forward controls are really off putting on a sporty motorcycle and most definitely a good reason to walk on by and get another motorcycle. Like the Low Rider S/ST 🤙🏼

Or a Sport Chief which has mids. They have mid controls as a option which should be the OEM controls not forwards .

That's just 😱 So for now it looks lika a Low Rider or possibly the 2024 Sport Glide for me. That being said the 101 is pretty damn good looking. To bad about the forward controls but that is a deal breaker for me.

Polaris needs to fix that shaky Front Screen. And riding that Route/4/Route 80/Hackensack route You need to keep your head on a swivel. And If I was this Bike, id'e be pissed on being called "SHE", Nothing is more Cringe than Gendering Bikes or Cars.
