It's funny how he went super carnivore in Meghalaya and then turned complete vegetarian in Assam. As an Assamese vegan I can testify to the fact that Assamese vegetables and greens are one of the most versatile in the world. Sadly most of it is lost nowadays due to outside influence and dominance of pork etc. I wish Assamese vegetarian cuisine returns to most Assamese households like it was in the old days.

Did you, The movie "Indiana Jones and the crystal skull", was inspired by the Jungles and life style of the NE people of India, they depicted the ethnicity in the movie like the people from the mainland but the rest everything is exactly accurate.... From the landscape to the eating habits(bugs, insects) Tribes from Nagaland and Mizoram were head hunters, a tribe from Nagaland hunted head till the late 1950's.
@stynershiner18543 жыл бұрын
Actually NE tribes aren't the only tribes in the world who have this lifestyle.
