Davidsbeenhere The vibrant green scarf is called “ARONAI” it belongs to the true ethnic tribal community of Assam known as ‘BODO’ tribe pronounce as ‘BORO’ . The tribe is known to be the earliest settlers in Assam Northeast,so they are also known as ‘Bhumiputra’ meaning ‘ the son of the Land ‘ . The Bodo tribe is the first to rear silkworm and silk materials and also known to be advanced in rice cultivation in Assam

It has been a while since you are trav3lling in India, mixing rice nicely with dal and eating it with vegetables is a good way to really experience the food and giving the food space in the plate for it to mix properly.
