Wow this is a really sharp look. I wonder if I good get away with that on my regular scout with the full fenders? If so I’m totally going that route

Great video. I have a 21 scout bobber and I was thinking about going with a 150 on the front. How did it change the handling? I was also thinking of going 180 in the rear but don’t know if I’d have to change the wheel

I wonder if they make that for a 19Inch front wheel that will match ?
@petevasquezjr3 жыл бұрын
Looks great! Did you keep the stock front rim or did you get the 18" rim to match the back! I just got my front and back 18" rims in over the weekend and can't decided if I want to put the 18" rim on the front. I think its too much rim. I like the look of the 150 tire on the front.
@oxouk3 жыл бұрын
I actually bought another identical 16” rim, to put the 150 on. I still have the 130 mounted on the other rim as a back up. To each their own, but I think the front 18” wheel is too much. The bike loses that short, stout, mean look. Just my opinion.
@petevasquezjr3 жыл бұрын
@@oxouk I agree. I'll have to see if I can send back the 18" front rim to RC components for a refund minus the restocking fee.

Could you please provide me with the front tire information. I'm guessing it something like this ME888 150/90 -16

@@oxouk he brother I need some info if it’s possible I know the tire is ME 888 now they have 150/80R/16 or the 150/80B16 the difference is on the letter, witch one is the right one ? Thanks

Hi Oxouk, I'm looking for that tire online and in the store, most of them they don't have in the store and has to be ordered. But, I find on Cheap Cycle Parts and it's said REAR 150/80B16, I guess that tire can go in the front...or not. Can you or someone help me with that doubt I have. Again, million times thank you for your videos, I'll never do my bike as it is now without your videos
@oxouk2 жыл бұрын
If the only tire you can find is the OEM REAR 150/80/B16, then that can be mounted on the front. Tires are mounted with the directional tread pattern facing towards each other and not in the same direction. Tires are marked with an arrow on the sidewall. If you are putting that rear tire on the front, just make sure the sidewall arrow is pointing to the rear. Good luck with your build, and ride safe!
@rodneyrogers30233 жыл бұрын
does the ride feel better? and to clarify it is the the stock rim?
@oxouk3 жыл бұрын
It is the stock rim. Ride is not much different. As with adding a wider rear tire, adding a wider front requires a little more focus when cornering. After a few rides it feels normal again.
@loxchopper3 жыл бұрын
@@oxouk dumb question but if you have the stock rim on the front what do you have on the back? Stock rim isn’t going to fit a 240 is it? Apologies as I’m learning currently.
@oxouk3 жыл бұрын
@@loxchopper the rear wheel is an 18x9 with a 240 mm tire. The stock wheels are 16x3.5, they can accommodate a tire up to 180mm.
@loxchopper3 жыл бұрын
@@oxouk right, so I’m wondering if you have two different style rims going? If the front is stock but then back is a bigger wheel to accommodate the tire? Or when you mentioned “stock” on the front were you referring to the stock size? I took it as stock style rim that comes with the bike. Thanks so much
@oxouk3 жыл бұрын
@@loxchopper the front wheel is stock as in the one that originally came on the bike. When you order the rear wheel from RC Components, it’s called a “stocker” wheel. Although it is not an exact match, they make it really close to the original.

Is the 150/80 fits on the stock 18” with no problem?
@oxouk3 жыл бұрын
The stock wheel is a 16" wheel, but yes, no problem, and still clears the front fender.

Is that a lighted bonnet? Did you find a template to drill hole placement
@oxouk2 жыл бұрын
It doesn’t light up although I have seen ones that do. It comes with a rubber gasket with two holes which essentially is a template to drill the holes.
