Sting ray fish is made into a special curry called teeyal ,grated coconut is roasted and then grinded with spices tastes gud,but this fish is not fried here only curry form

Hei rick, you can cook stingray and its a delicious fish actually, i am from the same place shown in the vedio and we have those sting ray coconut curry served at weddings and you would definitely love it. But however you have to ve careful while buying stingray for cooking . Until you know there is someone who can help you with it dont but stingray. Cause there are different types of stingray and i think only one can be cooked the rest will smell like ammonia ones cooked. I think the one with grey skin is the one with smell

Indrani probably is disappointed by the fish she can buy here, none of the salmon/tilapia/seabass stuff will work, and the imported hilsa rohu padba etc are in pretty bad shape by the time they get to the market - when you remember and compare with fresh fish from the market back in india. I am surprised she isn't equally disappointed by the tasteless cornish cross chicken sold here. She maybe more forgiving than I am.
