From a strictly cinematic point of view, you know, in terms of craftsmanship and all this, "Raiders" is probably the best of the bunch (that is the ONLY three Indy movies that exist - period!!!), but to be honest - as much as I LOVE all three of them, I pribably have the most fun watching "Temple Of Doom".. is it bonkers at times and absolutely exaggerated, dark and similar to a gruesome theme park ride? YES, MAN, ABSOLUTELY!!!! But that's the fun of it, and it completely embraces and perfectly depicts the classical high adventure atmosphere....I just love, love, love this awesome movie!!! And I can't really understand why so many Indy fans seem to not like it that much....as I said, to me it's probably my favorite, so....everybody who hasn't seen it - go watch it NOW, it's a fantastic ride!!! But you should watch all three existing Indy movies anyways, so....😉👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻💞

It’s honestly been awhile since I’ve watched these movies but, it’s kind of crazy because, this game pretty much within the first two hours captures the essence of high adventure that I loved from the original trilogy and I think I may go back soon and watch the original trilogy again, not sure when I can make it work but, as soon as I can, I definitely will.

Theirs a pretty good fan edit of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull out there that removes a ton of lame dialouge, bad cgi, and tones down the alien stuff. It actually makes the film more watchable and I highly recommend giving it a chance.

@GeekinWithJamesHancock I must say I absolutely love this game so far, I want to say I am a little over the halfway mark of the main campaign at this point as I’m in the second to last continent that you go to in the game and I will go back and explore and get all the stuff I missed afterwards. As when it comes to Indiana Jones I don’t think the story of this game is on par with the original trilogy of masterpieces much like you said but, I think it’s easily the best thing in the IP since The Last Crusade because, I have been addicted to seeing where this Indy adventure goes. One thing I won’t spoil how if you haven’t gotten to this point yet, is that the giant intruder played by Tony Todd RIP, whether it’s on purpose or inadvertently, sort of helps out Indy in a way after stealing from him in the beginning so, I’m not sure if that was intentional on his characters part or not but, it kind of happens either way.

MachineGames is comprised of mostly former devs of Starbreeze Studios. The creators of Chronicles of Riddick: Butcher Bay. One of the best film licensed games ever made. A game that was better than Chronicles of Riddick. One of the first FPS games that had complex hand to hand combat, and legitimately good voice acting from the likes of Ron Perlman and Michael Rooker. It's no surprise they made a game that was better than the film(s) that preceded it.

@geekinwithJamesHancock POE sure is taking over game reviewers' lives right now. Enjoy! I watched some of Wolfheart's Stalker 2 play thru and one other reviewer. Looks like it could be pretty immersive and have some RPG lite elements. Wolfheart didn't really delve into the Zone's personalities or immerse himself into its "culture" or lore. I played the original Stalkers with a bunch of mods and it was a blast. The new Stalker looks like it'll be amazing once the kinks are worked out and modders have their way with it.

This is really good news. The people who worked on this video game should have been the ones in charge of the franchise and not KK who did a horrible job with dial of destiny. The original trilogy of Indiana Jones is a masterpiece. Say what you will about Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, it had good moments and is a much welcome movie than dial of destiny where they disrespect the character, the fans and everything else that made this franchise special. The people who made this video game seem to be true fans with real talent. It is what this franchise needed.

True, but as far as the classic movies go, I think Indiana has the edge with 3 good movies versus 2 1/2 with Star Wars. And in the modern era, Indy only has 2 bad movies versus the ocean of mediocrity that makes up Disney Star Wars.
