NT are difficult to work with, did a quiz about a decade ago, I observed the image and put kiwi, the Neurotypical people called it a bird and said I was wrong. They replaced my answer with bird, all the teams got the answer wrong having placed bird, and I would of been correct as the person doing the quiz said kiwi, as I was focused on the species of bird. I hate working with people.

Omg! Something similar happened to me! It was a history quotes group quiz game. the question was: which historical figure said this? I said FDR. Everyone ignored me and the “leader of the group” wrote JFK.... I was right, it was FDR.

I think "useless trivia" area is just about right for me, while "math" is oversized. Not that I'm terrible at math, now, but I have no natural talent for it. I had to work really hard to pass all the math exams in high school and university.

I hate the puzzle piece personally, because I don't see myself as missing pieces of my puzzle. I'm just my own puzzle, I have all my pieces it's just a different puzzle to NT's. I'm not broken. I definitely relate to the useless trivia! I...don't even know who Monty Python is.

Comic books and obscure science fiction references have zero space in my brain. Monty Python quotes is about 1 brain cell because I only know some from being required to perform in Spamalot but I don't like it. I know exactly 2 cartoon theme songs and not even all the words. Useless trivia and internet memes are about right. Social skills are bigger for me and math and science are way bigger for me, granted the math and science things overlap very significantly with the useless trivia in my brain.

Last meme is so me I can talk about Legion The Blacklist and some movie for so much. Also i talk about one actor for so much tot he point some are just tired of hearing about him. He was the main actor of movie Rushmore and final boss in Scott Pilgrim movie. Anything to do with movies and music I love learning too much that why I am studying to be Film Director. One Twitch streamer who I love plays Jackbox heard one actor name enough to the point where we had movie night about him. Even jokes in games created to go after me liking that one actor. My movie passion kind of started in high school 1st was trying to be Vet but I gave up cause it's all medical

It's also common for people with ADHD to have anxiety or driftlessness if That One Thing for Today (a package, an appointment, seeing friends, etc.) is delayed or the schedule changes. Switching gears can be impossible or lead to meltdown. It's particularly difficult/agonizing if we end up having to do something that doesn't feel interesting. Also: I already had A Thing I did today, and can't transition into another.

I'm so used to the puzzle piece and I really don't jive with the colored infinity symbol. I don't even want to call myself an Aspie anymore simply because I don't a-holes accusing me of being a Nazi supporter or whatever... But I've always felt there was actually a piece of me missing anyway, so even though the implications may be harmful, I don't mind the puzzle piece. Plus, ironically, the change is too hard to adapt to for me lol Like, it feels too queer to me (not that this is bad, it's just confusing to me that way). But I'm all for an alien being our symbol if nothing else. Cuz we are basically aliens in a foreign land.
