Oh my god… When Almond milk first came out I was sitting on my couch with my gay best friend that I lived with. Indigo Girls are my all time favorite band. I have seen them in concert every time they have come through Dallas or San Diego. One of my dreams is to be financially independent enough to follow them on a tour season to every venue. Best road trip music ever. I simply cannot ever get enough. I’m loving this podcast folks! The Album that popped into my head was Rumors by Fleetwood Mac. Not only is the album a masterpiece, but I think all the drama going down with the band at that point in time would be entertaining to watch as long as I wasn't part of it. But Amy's answer was amazing too. And riffing off her answer, If I could be there for a Beatles album, I would actually choose the bootleg albums recorded live at the Star Club from their days in the Reeperbahn.

I have to say, growing up with The Indigo Girls was the best! My sisters and I sang Love's Recovery at our high school (East High - yes the one from High School Musical! 😊) for an assembly when I learned how to play the guitar. It's the only one of their songs I can play perfectly, just as it is played on the album. I posted a video of it for friends on FB/IG during the pandemic (which is why it's still on my KZbin channel), and it got more comments than any other song. Even the lady who taught me how to play it (and how to play the guitar) was impressed that I could still play it. 🏳️‍🌈❤

One of Ashley Judd's early films, Ruby in Paradise, is really good. I like the opening scene where there's no dialogue just Judd's Ruby storming out of a southern rural-looking house with a look of determination, and as she drives away this dumbass guy runs out looking like he just woke up. We can't hear anything he's yelling, but it's definitely dumbass shit like "You get your ass back here!", etc., as he finally impotently throws his shoe at the car as she leaves him behind literally and figuratively...

I got a new sewing machine recently and named her Fortune. (I make custom ballet costumes) Every morning I start the day saying good morning, but throughout the rest of the day there are plenty of times that I say, "FORTUNE" don't fuck up the 'paunties'.
