The vibe was definitely sweet! Rustic but charming and also relatively affordable in these times (coughcough). Guess the more hippy lifestyle on this coast helps with these kind of vintage campers to keep on livin' the good life 😉

Pretty amazing stuff, right?!? We worked mostly with fresh leaf indigo grown locally here which is persicaria tinctoria. You can find many videos in the Indigo playlist with fresh leaf and I will be posting more in the coming weeks, so keep your eye out for them 💙

Would be nice tolearn more about indirubin and how to make ! Believe Salal is a native to that area. Keegan grahm has amazing info on his site- and sells seeds, liquid indigo and a page showing how to fold fabric for dying designs .

I confused the word 'invasive' with 'abundant' meaning it grows everywhere, but it's meant to be here 😊 I've seen some of Keegan's resources and it is a great place to learn more about indigo for sure. Looked up indirubin and see some mainstream med are using for health !!@@MargaretByrdColorQuest That would be nice to learn more about it. Maybe when your talking show more around camp or plants or dye results, so have a shorter info vid. I know its not easy to edit and put in explanations and showing results and places ! This is amazing. Now I am itching to get my hands in some dye. I have some Goldenrod growing in my yard. It's calling my name. Unfortunately, I have to do my work before I can play. 💔

Hopefully, you can squeeze in some goldenrod play this weekend 💛 I bought some dried goldenrod last month to test it out since I wasn't able to find it easily while foraging. I know it really grows like a weed in so many places!

@MargaretByrdColorQuest Yes, it is native here, so I just threw seeds on the ground and ended up with quite a bit. As much as I want to play with it, the bees were still enjoying it the last time I checked. That helps me have the tiniest but of patience.
