When I was a kid, there was an A&W restaurant in my area. Typical American fast food with burgers and hot dogs but the drinks were amazing. The A&W rootbeer came out of a tap and they served them in large glass mugs 🍻 Would stop by just for the drinks 🤓

I'm glad A&W is starting to get more popular overseas! Here in the US it is really common and you can buy it in a big liter bottle at your local grocery shop any day of the week. It makes really good homemade popsicles too for super hot days.

WOW how neat ! Went to a stand alone A & W location in Malaysia, much like a burger spot, I can not remember which city it was in. They had good ice cream too, outdoor or indoor seating. Possibly near. KL. You would know better than I would. A & W seems popular in Malaysia, which is good. !!

I’m not a fan of carrots either, but throw them (and celery as well, not a fan of it alone) into a stew and it’s suddenly delicious. Just absorbs all the broth and makes a fun texture (provided they don’t turn to mush). My hubby loves carrots. Eats them raw. The man hates healthy foods but will eat a whole bag of baby carrots 😂

egg yolk in japan always amazes me, they're vibrant bright orange just like my rescue Hens. The supermarket eggs in america look very pale yellow and aren't very rich in flavor. Once I started raising chickens I could never eat a supermarket egg again XD

Thanks for another informative meal from your part of the world. Is it normal to eat burgers that are pink in the middle? I was told that's ok for steak as air never gets into the meat to spoil, whereas mince has air all around it. So you'd be effectively just be eating raw meat.
