Hi Nick, so glad to hear that you have a plan to visit Maluku (my home land) Nutmeg is a spice from Maluku, especially on Banda Island. if you go to Banda Island, you can see directly the nutmeg gardens there. Nutmeg became a ‘prey’ for European nations, one of which was the Dutch who later colonized Indonesia. Banda has a lot of history that you can see. There are still many old buildings and relics of the colonial era in Banda. In Banda there is also a mini palace which is the same as the palace of the President of Indonesia in Jakarta. In Maluku you can eat as much fresh fish as you like. Yellow soup fish and papeda are typical foods in Maluku. There are also grilled fish and others that you can try. In Ambon don't forget to go to Sibu-Sibu Cafe and try drinking Rarobang Coffee. You can also go to the Siwalima Museum to know more about Maluku. Besides Banda and Ambon, Southeast Maluku, Central Maluku are also interesting to explore if you have enough time. Maluku is also a very famous producer of eucalyptus oil from Buru Island. Oh yes, don't forget to try the rujak natsepa too.I hope you enjoy to explore Maluku. Success for your channel. Greetings from The Netherlands 🙋🏻♀️

@@evietahapary9923 yes it is in Seram.. i remember the last time i went there it was very remote, everything was very basic and traditional.. people were very nice too though. They spent their time gardening in the forest (planting cloves and nutmeg and lime.. my grandfather was a veteran but he also spent most of his time being a fisherman). The landscape of the island was veeeery interesting. All the kampungs were located on the coastline and so whenever we opened our front doors, we could see the ocean.. and the jungle was just right behind our back doors 🤣 I hope you love your life in the Netherlands (maybe, consider a visit to Maluku or Indonesia, maybe). Take care.
