Yeah, she sounds so grown, and sings the song with such feeling and emotion, like she experienced what she's singing about, but the fact is, she hasn't even turned 11 yet. THIS is what truly amazes me every time I listen to her. Yes, she has an amazing voice, but it's the 'feeling'. No one in my 66 years has ever made me feel so many different emotions when they sing. Great singers come and go, but this young lady is unique. She's special. God gave her something to share with the world, and she's not holding it back... much. 😉

This one is not an original by AJ but a demo that someone leaked. It is a Baby Fuzz's song that was offered to different artists but nobody took it nor AJ because her family thought it wasn't appropriate for her age. Later Baby Fuzz himself sang it but without success. At this time, AJ released 5 originals: "What is life", "Oslo", "Shield", "Million Miles" and "7th Heaven". Plus "A song for A" composed by Nico Cartosio to be sung by her for his instrumental album Melted (the only song with lyrics, taken from a 18th century poem).

When Angelina was 10 years old (shortly before her 11th birthday) she recorded this as a demo for the artist, "Baby Fuzz" but it was never released as her recording. Baby Fuzz then went on to record and release this song himself under his own name, so he is officially the original artist for this song. But we all know that he was just covering the demo that Angelina did. Angelina, at 10 years old actually did a much better job with the song than Baby Fuzz. Great reaction.

As you may have read, this one is a great favorite of hardcore Angelina fans. It’s impossible for me to pick an absolute favorite from Angelina because…you know why. This one is staggering when you consider that a ten year old has the voice and musicality to deliver this so powerfully. But in addition, we listen to this ten year old leading us adults through a dark, melancholy, emotional journey by living those lyrics like no one else can. It’s not an original composition by Angelina, but she has killed it for anyone else.

This was written by someone called Fuzzy Baby Butt, (or something like that), Angelina was the first to record it as a demo at age 10, the audio was later 'leaked' in 2018 and a fan made this video for it. You'll hear a lot of speculation about lyrics but her mother wouldn't have allowed her to record it in the first place if there was a problem with lyrics. I think Angelina and her mother have enough sense to know when lyrics are metaphorical. There's also a rumour that copyright and ownership were the issues, (nothing to do with Angelina). Until we hear from Angelina herself or someone who actually knows why this was never officially released by AJ we will never truly know the answer. Great reaction again guys, keep 'em coming!

I'm still holding out for you song written by Brandon Lowry, "also goes by Baby Fuzz," Ronny Janssen and Frida Amundsen went to 10-year-old Angelina with it and Angelina made this audio demo cut but rumor is Angelina's mother didn't like the ending lyrics referencing suicide and the demo cut was not released. Later the demo was pirated from Angelina pictures were added and put online at the same time the song was released by Baby Fuzz caused some confusion but rumor has it that all parties agreed to leave Angelina's pirated cut on U-tube. That’s not how demos work. If they had picked up the rights to the songs they could have changed anything they wanted with the song to suit her and her age. I don’t think they ever approached her to acquire the rights since Baby Fuzz actually did his own demo and got no takers. And remember this was at the same time as Shield, that’s how they got her to do the demo.

Lots of conflicting stories about this. All we know for sure is that the writer got Angelina to record it as a demo when she was 10, so in that sense she is the original singer and may well have influenced the released version. As for the story about her being forbidden from recording by her parents and this being "leaked", I've learned to believe only what I hear coming from the protagonists mouths. Most Angelina 'facts' in comments sections are regurgitated by people who know little more than the reactor.

Brandon didn't even know she was doing a demo (with some of his team) until it was "leaked" without his permission. So it would appear we don't know "for sure" at all. Brandon could have pulled it from the internet immediately, but he liked it so much that he left it up. You are certainly right about your last comment though: most....comments sections are regurgitated by people who know little more than the reactor. For example, the story about her mom being upset about the suicide inference at the end. In fact, if that was the case, the lyrics could have easily been changed. And if Sara was upset about the suicide inference, which Brandon says is not at all what the lyrics are saying, why would she let her 7 year old daughter sing "Gloomy Sunday", which has be called "the Hungarian suicide song", on NGT. Some one says something in a comment, and another person passes it on as factual, and pretty soon, that becomes the narrative, even if it's completely incorrect.

Until Angelina related the barefoot story in her own words, one could be forgiven for believing she had given her shoes away in about five different countries. I await her explanation why, according to her fans, her height increases and decreases according to the weather. Another irritation is how certain commenters have a habit of asserting that she personally rearranged every new cover she posts. I could set up a rather long list of such "facts", but here I will just grab hold of your comment on "Gloomy Sunday" which is a tricky affair. All evidence (news articles, advertisements and videos - which I can provide links to if you want to check them) points to this audition being held in Oslo on January 25th! - And as she is born on January 10th, you can make up her age for yourself. The tricky part is that Angelina herself claims to be 7, but it can't be! WHY she says she is 7 both at the NGT and later on the AGT, is left open to speculations... Regarding the lyrics of the song, you will hear that the despair in the first verse, where the "I" have lost her beloved one (leading to thoughts of suicide in the second verse - which Angelina omitted -), is revealed as a dream ending with relief and even a reinforcement of the excisting love between "I" and the other person. Thus the lyrics are not so out-of-place for Angelina who very often chooses songs about love. Her mother seems to have a certain control of lyrics she has found inappropriate for Angelina to sing (- is that a fact?!). But as you say, Angelina have sung alternative lyrics several times, and why not on "I'm still holding out ..." as well?

This isn't an Angelina original song, this is from Baby FuzZ The bulk of “I’m Still Holding Out For You” was done at a songwriting camp in Oslo, Norway. He wrote the song with cowriters Aksel Carlson, Ronny Janssen, and Frida Amundsen. This is why it says leaked, it wasn't suppose be put out

As many are pointing out, this is not her original. The Song was written by “Baby FuZZ” and was shopped around to different artists for possible official recording and release. Angelina recorded this demo but for reasons unknown it was never released. When no artist seemed to be interested in recording it, Baby FuZZ recorded his own version and released it unaware at the time of Angelina’s demo that was leaked by someone involved in the recording. We can say that Baby FuZZ covered his own song. LOL. There are lots of speculations about the reasons why the song was not released but the truth is that we don’t know. Baby FuZZ threatened to block Angelina’s video because of all mistaken accusations that he prevented her from changing the lyrics. In an interview he said that there were no discussions between him and Angelina’s team about releasing the song and only became aware of her recording after it was leaked. He also said that he liked her recording and he supports young artists. We should all be thankful to him for not blocking Angelina’s video inspite of being unfairly criticized. This song was written by Brandon Lowry, Axel Carlson, Ronny Janssen and Frida Amundsen. The last Norwegian trio were the ones shopping it to Angelina, and they did a few recordings together of this song. This exact demo was recorded and produced by Janssen/Carlson, Jan 3rd 2017, as their 3rd attempt. These are also the facts.

There's a lot of disinfo about this song / performance. 1) The author of the song is Brandon Lowry (stage name "Baby Fuzz.") 2) Angelina recorded the song as a demo (age 10) at the request of the song's author, without ever having heard anyone else's version (no other recordings would have been available publicly.) 3) No official explanation has been given regarding the reasons that Angelina declined to publish her recording of the song. All of the unofficially-claimed reasons have been officially denied. 4) Both Angelina and Brandon Lowry have no issues with Angelina's version being available on KZbin. Either party could easily have KZbin take it down, if they so desired.

She is a musical she is a musical child, prodigy, and that’s the only way you can describe her. Maybe it’s just my opinion, but nobody can touch her vocals. I’m not bashing or disrespecting any of the artist people say she sound like this. She sound like that a little bit, but now she has a style all her own, and she is the only artist that has ever put her soul in her music. You can see it in her face, and she started listening to music the blues, since she was one years old, and was singing at one years old, she was writing on her own. She has been writing some music since she was a child 11 years old 11 songs. She is a old soul wrapped in the body of a young woman, and that rapping of that old woman started when she was young and she’s going to make her mark and musical history. So again I’m 57. Cartosio wrote this song specifically for Angelina. This lovely song is based on the 1783 poem “The rigs of barley” by Scottish poet Robert Burns (1759-1796).
