“River” details the struggles of a failing relationship that culminates in an abortion. The story initially depicts a man who has been cheating on his girlfriend. The girl finds out about his infidelity, and, she seeks revenge by cheating on him with Eminem. Em knows he is getting used, yet he persists anyways in order to fill the romantic void in his heart. After the man finds out what his girlfriend has been doing, he ends up leaving her at the same time as Eminem has lost interest in her. Em’s struggles come to fruition as soon as he realizes the woman is pregnant by him. His selfish actions cause the destruction of the girl’s relationship and the abortion of her unborn child (And your right Em is a great actor might I add you should watch 8 Mile and his latest cameo on 50 Cent’s TV Series called “BMF” it’s quick tho🙇🏽‍♂️🐐🎯💯)

I completely agree. Eminem isn’t young anymore. The industry tries to appeal to the kids so they spend their parents money and generate more views because they have the most time on their hands and short attention spans. The problem with the album is the curation. When you pop that shit in, press play, and you think you're listening to an EMINEM CD 💿 ..... Walk On Water feels like click bait. Those two names together and thats it? 😢 It isn't the best either of them are capable of and the hype of seeing those two names together n then u get that soft boring intro, an eminem song with no beat, zero drums, it shouldnt be the first thing you hear. The first two tracks should be way later or at the end. And he tucked Arose waaaay at the very back where no ones gonna hear it or notice it. The first two tracks should be Arose then Framed, then River then Castle... all the good ones first. Like MMLP has Kill You then STAN with thebpublic service announcement and the skits, the way i am, then the real slim shady it just keeps going. I know I listened to it b4 but i never heard Castle or Arose i think i tuned out. And Castle and Arose dont go together it isnt obvious whats going on. Noone knows that we're about 2 go into the drug overdose and were waking up in the hospital. I listened to Arose on its own after hearing him talk about waking up and not being able 2 move and how the doctors said he had the equivalent of 4 bags of heroin - and how domeone sold him methadone telling him its easier on his liver... like id been following that whole story. I didnt realize its the very last song.
