Yeah, well sorry for taking a month to put everything together 😛 More time can probably be found but I'm happy to let that be a benchmark for anyone else for now... only real strategy I had for practice laps was I was lifting off the throttle into the corner and like tapping the throttle on and off a few times on corner entry before pressing the button again... idk how to really explain it tho... in hindsight I should have put a controller input up on my recordings, oh well lol Race WR's intrigue me in you could sideswipe a backmarker when overtaking them and get a big speedboost on top of using them for the draft beforehand... basically bumpdrafting in an openwheeler... that seems a good way to go for at least some crazy fastest race lap times, but seems janky as anything to try to execute because half the time it doesn't work... but it's possible to lower the benchmarks even further than what you've already done. I probably am done with this for now other than doing a full 200 lap Indy 500 just to say I've done it, cause 200 laps with damage and AI mobile chicanes seems like a fun way to spend a few hours, right?

@@GTracer01 I've done the sideswipe on some of the backmarkers before and you do seem to get a nice speedboost, sometimes over the highest speed I've gotten with draft, but yeah like you said its very janky and could kill your race if you do it wrong. Another thing I tried out a little bit was starting a little in back of the grid in order to get a starting slingshot from a car in front of you, dont know if i do it in any records tho. In some of the tracks (i forget which) it seems advantageous to start in at least second because you get a better line and a speed boost from the draft. I am also probably done with this game unless some random obsessive compulsion comes over me to beat some times. Might try out some of the other things the game has to offer before letting it collect dust though. I haven't touched any part of the game except the main races, championship, and practice. I didn't even know indy had chicanes, thought it was all left turns (which is dumb now that i think of it cuz i live in one of the street circuits lol)
