Wanted to thank you for posting this video. After searching for along time you helped me find a replacement for my first car. I am now the proud owner of the 1976 Dodge Dart Sport aired in this video. Mopar Perry is a stand up guy, bought the car and even had it delivered to Ocala, FL. for a fee of course. LOL ! The car is now just outside Tampa and I am working on it's restoration.

Hi Indyman! nice friendly greetings from Germany, Bavaria🙋🍀 i found your channel a while ago & subscribed... because I'm a big fan of US Cars, USA, "the American way of drive", especially of places like this what are called "Junk" yards...i really love it! for me it isn't "junk", for me it is amazing to see places like that & I really really hope that people at USA would not "cleaning up" more of those nice places of American automotive history with all those beautiful classic cars & parts...i think it's sooo important to save it, restore it😍👌 I'm interested in that both Buicks (76 Regal & that '71 Buick Riviera) and also especially in 4 doors! because for me are especially mid-& fullsize US cars as 4 doors, most 4 door hardtops interesting😋 i think too many people see 4 doors as "parts-cars" only for parting out what is very sad in my eyes... i know, many people haven't that skills about forming/rebuilding sheet metal parts like rusty wheel arches or something else.. but hey, before i began with my current project i also didn't know about that i could really rebuild/restore sheet metal body parts or something else like that. i learned it, because i had to learn it! and now I've restored all 4 whole wheel arches at the fenders & quarters at my '67 Chevy Caprice 4 Door Hardtop. all built with new sheet metal.. formed, welded & grinded by myself until I got back front fenders and quarters like new..what had rusted out mostly the whole wheel arches(&4 door doglegs). I also rebuilt the whole lower windshield frame, or even also the rear window frame with new, self-/handmade sheet metal work. yes, that isn't easy, but I'm sure also other car guys could do that work if they will learn it by doing. that could save soo many cars. i listen to you and the owner of that yard; I often heared "parts-cars" or so, especially when there is a 4 door car. and i ser cars to restore. really to restoring it, not for parting it out.... I HOPE YOU WOULD NOT UNDERSTAND ME BAD PLEASE! I'm not "angry" or mean it bad! i only like to say; "Hey guys, those beautiful cars are to good for parting it out... i would restore it 😍..." look, I haven't that option to get to a place like that or a place like called "junk yard" because I'm living at germany were no classic cars, especially US cars are to find and parting it out... I've to import every single part for my restoration project. for example; I got my '67 Chevy with a dented front fender, and with rusty wheel arches..i also got another front fender with the car for change the fender at the car. but I saw that this 2nd fender also had to get new sheet metal around the wheel arche. and I was thinking about to search for better front fenders in internet at USA... but then i take new flat sheet metal and began to work. and now all wheel arches are like new☺ I'm still working at the body, so I've to rebuild the channel for the weatherstrip at the trunk because this os also rusted out at many spots. yes, it is a time intensive work, but it's also a nice work when you've started this work with rebuilding sheet metal...it makes fun, save more old cars & it also make me proud about that...☺ we've 2020, and those beautiful cars often are older than 50-70 years. and at USA you've that big luck that people like ghis owner of that yard had collected these beautiful classic cars and i think every car has to be restored and saved if possible.and if people begin to work woth sheet metal, the most cars are restorable i think. it's a thing what is worth the car itself with its history. the money isn't that important thing about. because really, that's unbelievable that those beautiful cars are even here and not crushed!😊 that's a soo big luck i think and i think we car enthusiastic people have that important job to save the cars, even also that upcoming generations of car guys also have that luck to find cars for restoration projects too... i think i see that luck, because I've to live at a country where all places like that are "cleaned up" decades ago and those cars are lost forever what is sad, bad and I'm angry about the people with theyr "recycling thinking" what have crushed all classic cars drcades ago. so our generation of car guys haven't that option, that luck to find classic cars for projects sith places like that. can you understand now what i mean with "save that cars for restoration projects or something else like that..."????☺ and why i say "restore it, don't crush it or part out the good cars..." 😅 even also when there are the mid and fullsize cars especially with 4 doors. because look at me, i love this kind of US cars. at most 4 door hardtops, without the pillars/B-Pillars between the doors what looks soo beautiful in my eyes. often the 4 door hardtop has a nicer roofline than the same car with 2 doors... a very good example is the 67 Chevy Caprice/Impala 4 Door Hardtop with my 70 years old Dad (I'm 34) what I've found via internet, located Ohio USA and imported it to Bavaria 😋 we are still restoring it, the whole restoration work all by ourselve...the only part of the restoration what we couldn't do by ourselve is the paint job. nobody could do all, right!?😋 but don't feel bad about my words please, because it's not meaned bad or something else like that! ☺ i only tell you how sad it is for us younger car guys when people are even crushing classic cars or so. we also are looking for a affordable project car and often it isn't a Dodge Challenger, ore something else like a muscle. because the only affordable cars for the most car guys are the other US classic cars too. but can you tell me how i could contact ghat owner of this yard? because I'm really interested in that both Buicks to restore and save it after my present project. I'll buy only one. and it must not one of this Buicks! because i think at this yard are also 4 sedans or/& door hardtops of the aera ~ 1965-1975, what is that aera what has my favorite US cars. but at the video i mostly saw Pony/muscle cars & 2 doors. and i think there are also 65-75 4 door sedans & hardtop's in a restorable condition, right?!😍 and I hope to could ask the owner about that, at best via email.... could you help me to contact him PLEASE...????☺ I really would help to save classic cars. and I only have that option to do that. I hope to hear from you, please.. now have a great day! & best regards from Germany, Bavaria & me 👋🍀🙋 Cheers Till ( You could write me a email please: tillivanilli01@gmail.com )

Till, Sorry for the delay in answering this message. We like 4 door cars too. I just like to hack on the Rust Queen because 2 door cars are more popular here. Many are now converting 4 to 2 doors. The Falcon is gone, Chase. He said it had been there for several years so I figured it would still be there a few weeks later when I went back to get it. Wrong! Gone as soon as I put up the video. I am really kicking my butt because he said he would have held it for me if he had known. Lesson learned the hard way. Have no idea what the GPS numbers are. It's always hard to find even with his directions, lol. Guess we are both looking for Falcons. Good luck and thanks for stopping in.

No rust, complete, good title and with a 455 engine. I could park it in my yard and sell it in a week for more. Rear wheel drive Buick's, Olds, Chevy's and Pontiac's from the 70's and 80's are getting hot around here, Joe. Guess it just depends on where you live. Little value in FWD cars here either. Thanks for watching.
@indyme25 жыл бұрын
@UCa0hsDxjb2lapoeLVtNTT4A I prefer pre-1970 too, Joe. I guess the reason they are getting so popular here is they are rear wheel drive, still in good shape, low insurance and taxes. Most are installing 383 Chevy stroker engines in them and grudge racing on Thursday nights at the local drag strip. Probably a lot of street racing going on too, lol. Not much after 1970 built as far as I am concerned. Thanks for the info, Joe!
