INEOS are doing exactly what a properly run Club should be doing! * No more "United Tax". * Setting up a group of Football technocrats to improve recruitment policy. * Trying to get rid of deadwood players. * Targeting players that are 25 years and below thereby adding natural energy to the first team squad. * Applying a policy where players bought can still have a sell on value if they don't work out well in the squad after a few years. United are on the rise. It's only a matter of time for the dividends to be seen on the pitch of play. I've been supporting Manchester United for well over two decades and I strongly believe INEOS are on the right track!🙂

DeLigt Zirkzee Ugarte/Wieffer Reguilon is a proper window. I would love to have Kimmich and Gyokeres as well, but we'll see. Lindelof Maguire Casemiro Sancho Amrabat and Malacia Antony hopefully all gone soon. Rashford for Gyokeres no brainer. Evans Greenwood hopefully staying. AWB new contract.

Yes I agree with you. I however think things will change positively with Jim Radcliffe and INEOS. They are honestly building a group of good and experienced Football technocrats like Omar Berrada, Jason Wilcox , Dan Ashworth and Christopher Vivell. The transfer policy of United will improve. It's only a matter of time for the dividends to be seen on the pitch of play.

Madrid & Mcity. Bayern are still learning the ropes. The reason they got Kane was because Levy didn't want to sell to English sides. So nothing specular about Bayern transfers. They signed Dier which no top side wants. They signed Mane & he left. Chelsea are wasteful why would u mention them? Caicedo & co just look at the price tags. it will take many years to build a new stadium and I they want to make some small changes that will inspire the players etc - the new stadium could be 4 - 5 years away if they start soon.

Its a marginal gain. Yes, unfortunately people's lives will be impacted by it but sentimentality is why United has been this sustainable. All things considered if on merit they were meeting KPI's than we could be accusing SJR of being a complete tyrant. In all fairness I think that heads in the department's that are considered redundant need to be offloaded first because they oversaw these recruitment.Thereafter the lower hanging fruits.

Letting go 20+% of the staff at a business at the same time, which will save United 10 million a year, is small "potatoes", when so much more is wasted on individual transfer fees and individual player wages. The negative effect on moral amongst some of the 80% of staff who are retained needs to be considered, it would be better to offer voluntary redundancies and look to reduce the number of employees over time.

It isn't small potatoes. It sets the tone for the company: even tech companies make staff redundant even though the company makes profits. The morale argument is no different from any other company.

@@alanchadwick7213 If you worked at United and 20+% of the people you worked with were let go how secure would you feel about your future? There are plenty of ways to reduce the labour force instead of axing them. Bearing in mind the money wasted on over paid transfers and excessively high player and football staff wages - firing 250 people to save a mere 10 million is not positive for all the business.
