Inexperienced First RV Trip!

Welcome to our new journey! Since I planned to start a travel channel I figured I'd pick up the camera and start filming for our first trip. I was a little nervous but I had no idea it would be such an adventure! #travelmaass #travel #rvlife

HUGE black water tank tip….. skip the the packets to drop in the toilet. Every time you empty the black water, close the empty valve, flush to put some water in the tank then add two capful of any liquid laundry detergent AND two capfuls of liquid Calgon. Your tank won’t smell in the bathroom and the black water will empty completely. Been using this technique for 20 years without any stink!! Happy Trails and May The Forest Be With You!

The ones that I like to watch are Kara and Nate, Trent and Allie, and Emon and Bec. 2 of these couples are not traveling right now, one is building a home and one is fixing up a cabin. But Kara and Nate are still traveling. They all have some really great travel content.

I can't believe how many people thought that this vlog was recent! I came to the comment section to get answers. The trees are all bare!! Leaves on the ground. People are wearing jackets!! Its July people!!! They don't have the dogs with them. At the end of the vlog "We are Leaving" you see everything in its current season. And you see the dogs 😁 Also they say they are in Kentucky not NC. I bet Asa Maass posted this video and said to himself "Let's see if anyone notices" LOL 🤣🤣🤣 Looking forward to more vlogs though! 😊

When you do have full hookups you should still keep your black and grey tank valves closed until they are full. Empty black then gray then close them back up again. This prevents poop pyramids. Also always pour at least a couple of gallons of water down your toilet before you use it each time you take your trailer out camping whether your on full hookups or not! This helps keep the waste and tp from drying up and sticking to the bottom of the tank like cement (I know gross!) Also make a check list for hooking up, setting up and breaking down and USE it! Even the most experienced campers forget and make big mistakes!!! We've been camping with a trailer for many years and trust me, we speak from experience!
