I'm planning to enlist in the guard while still waiting to end my contract as a nurse in hospital lol and after that I'll switch to active duty for full time (new job)

How much is the pay monthly ?

@@joey6461 depends on your rank, im a PFC so it’s about 400 for drill weekend. My sergeants make much more. just make sure money isn’t your only motive

I got administratively separated health problems just wondering dose anyone know how I can get back in with a general under honorable and a re code 3 perfect service record no issues just that one article 15 any advice would be appreciated was an E-4 with 3 years in service.

I did 6 years in the Marine Corps Reserves as an infantryman. I was in college for the vast majority of that and graduated. Totally possible.

@American Texan A new physical fitness test for the Army and the infantry is a top notch. Which means the requirement to pass the test is more difficult than the old physical fitness test. Trust me, it's a test to drain your stamina a lot lol

Idk if you've made your choice yet, but if you intend to go to SFAS for national guard SF, you can choose your 18 series MOS even if you're already an 11b, this is assuming you were selected. 18b is gunnery sergeant, and 18d is medic

As a Marine who is currently transferring to the National Guard, I can tell you for a fact the NG is getting much better deployments than most of the military.
