I've been trying to make an Infect build with 4 Wastelands work for quite some time now! I think this is getting close!

Interesting build. I've been considering a delver-tempo shell in the past as well, but perhaps for it to be really viable there would have to be another one-drop infect creature besides elf. Inkmoth makes the deck somewhat mana-hungry, and then there's agent being a two-drop. My experience is that you want three mana sources in play to be comfortable - one to activate inkmoth and one for pump/protection. This makes it difficult to play a tempo-game, so personally I feel that inkmoth with wasteland is a nombo. But then again, I haven't tested this extensively and would be happy to be in the wrong here - anyway, appreciate the experimentation, always looking forward to your content. EDIT: Oh, one more thing: How do you feel about Radstorm as sideboard tech against control MUs to push through the last few poison counters once they grind you out. It cannot be countered straight up due to storm and you can cash in all the dazes and free spells rotting in your hand. I haven't tried it but it looks neat in theory. Might not be actually worth it though, considering how good LQR and Sylvan already are against control.

I like the idea but 4 mana is just too much for Radstorm. It will most often be a dead card in hand.

Yeess new content nice!!! If u ask me i just love ur infect content every format ^^. Coz u the only one streaming infect when delver and other deck are more common. And infect is just so much fun, and when we win with it while nobody plays it it feels even more enjoyable By the way have u ever tried pauper infect? Just curious xD

How do you feel about Standstill (say, in place of Sylvan Library)? Pitches to FoW, gives a benefit as long as it resolves (unless you cast first of course), doesn't have the life-cost drawback of Sylvan. Sorry if I missed your Standstill thoughts in another video. Thank you!

Standstill is so awkward if you draw it later. I don't see it in Infect really, but I'm always happy to brew!

Thanks, this was so fun and informative! My main questions afterward are: 1) Why 4-of Lorien with still 18 lands (or 19 if you're considering that with a Hedge Maze)? Is it because when it's redundant, then you're into casting-it range?; 2) I'm sorry if I missed your thoughts on it in an earlier video, but would you ever consider adding in 1 or more Ignoble Hierarchs given that it still gives Exalted, taps for Green, is a blocker when needed, and very few decks have board wipes main? 3) Okay just for fun, how do you feel about Postmortem Lunge or other effects that can bring back your lost infectors when you're ready to win? 1) exactly! but I could see playing less lands 2) not in Legacy no, I don't think we need it 3) I don't think that's worth it where Swords is the main removal spell

@@Fenruscloud thanks so much for considering my ideas! I have one more small idea if you'll humor it. Noxious Revival is so versatile that I could see it as a one-of. 1) With NR (paid w life) + Ponder/Brainstorm costs less than Snapcaster to recur a pump or counterspell; 2) When you have everything else, NR can bring back any infector including Inkmoth; 3) NR can recur a Wasteland 😵‍💫; 4) NR disrupts reanimate and can even instant nerf DRC I guess my question is, "Isn't it better than another Ponder, more than half the time?"

Those loriens seem really good. You often have a lander with (inkmoth) you can't keep. suddenly it is a keep. I wonder if you can do that in modern too (though they need to ban something modern is stupid right now).
