I feel like most intermediate players are aware of this aspect of V-R though, its pretty straight forward and commonly used. Whereas the aspects infexious covered in this video are ones I personally haven't thought of at all. It's still important as you say though of course.

Found that out by accident as Bison is rarely negative. Whenever I go up against one, I'm almost always desperate enough to use at least 2 V-Reversals per round :( Always hits, though!

Check your characters command list. It will either be forward + 3 punch buttons together or forward + 3 kick buttons - while you're in block stun 👍🏾

The biggest universal tip is just hard practice, use a bit of time in training mode before you go into a match. Practice your desired commands slowly on both sides, and turn on "Display Inputs" option so you can see that you're doing them right. It will become muscle memory eventually and you'll be hitting your commands consistently in no time.

You know what? Hardly ever use v reversal. Thats prolly why im still a scrubby silver.

It's never just one thing, but that's gonna help you for sure. As a scrubby Bronze I struggle to remember all the different tools I have and will use V-Reversals multiple times in a match that isn't particularly asking for them, while in other matches I'll forget about them completely despite being under a lot of pressure. That's easily one of my biggest weaknesses in the game.
