That's a great idea, Tiffany, and I loved seeing your son's reaction. I used to do something like this with my children when they were little, but I didn't add little presents along the way. I just kept putting them in larger sized boxes. They seemed to enjoy it. Merry Christmas to you and your family. I'll still be recovering from COVID, so I'll miss Christmas with my family this year. @@CrochetWithTiffany Actually today is the first day that I can leave my apartment, but I still have to wear a mask for at least 5 more days, however, I plan on wearing it ( again) from now on. This is my second go-round with COVID. Last year I had it at Thanksgiving. I'm fully vaccinated and I received the booster shot the day before I started with symptoms that I thought were from the booster....nope, it was COVID. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. May God bless you abundantly for everything you do for others.

I am very selective when I use velcro. It's usually only when I am working with Cotton yarn. So I completely understand. You could also use magnets or buttons as well. 😊🧶🧡

No worries Karen! You don't have to add the velcro. There are actually a couple fun ideas people have mentioned so slow down the opening of the wrap. You might even come up with something new yourself! Just a way to stop the person from opening the wrap so quickly. Maybe each turn or so. 😊🧶🧡
