I will say this is a great start to a web series. It's nothing like death battle, but that's the charm of it, and I hope it gets better overall. Two key factors that bothered me during the whole video 1. the analysis of the characters I feel like that could have been explained more in more depth. 2. The animation while the animation was top tier here really good and perfect I feel like it was very squeezed in like they were fighting in a closed space and to the point sometimes the models go off screen and I don't know if it's just me but I feel personally the fight would have been a lot better if it was just spaced out if the camera wasn't so zoomed in this is something for the animator to know not you or your team.

Top tier animation right there! Your co-host got it super right Infinite is star level due to the fact he created a literal star. It's not because he's Sonic strongest enemy, which that statement is very subjective. Plus, Sonic, while having help, didn't need a super form to fight him, so Infinite is weaker enemies Sonic has fought, but if we are talking enemies he's fought in base form, yeah I can see Infinite being the strongest in this case.

Alright, for a first episode, this was a really cool episode. Especially the fight. Looked great, especially for the first episode of a vs series. Major props to ItsChidomonYT for making it. The fight between the 2 while Mewtwo was levitating rocks was great, loved the way Infinite used his illusions, and really liked that fake-out ending. Worked really well with an illusion user like Infinite and I gotta admit it got me. The only major problems with the animation is that I think Infinite could have maybe gone just a bit crazier with the illusions like summoning those weird Infinite monsters shown in the avatar stage in metropolis or something. I was also confused with how Infinite killed Mewtwo in the end. Otherwise no complaints about the animation. I do find it interesting you going over more consistence feats and then going over the higher-end stuff. I do wonder though which you value more like in a future episode if a fighter has stronger consistent feats, but the other has stronger high ends. Which character would you say wins? Some criticism I have is that the intro to the characters felt a little too brief and I felt could have maybe gone into it a little bit more. Not sure if it's due to the 2 characters not having too much of a history (well at least specifically Shadow Mewtwo here), but I felt like more could have been said about them before the fight. Another one is I'm not really sure I agree with Infinite being the strongest enemy Sonic has faced at that point. I don't think he reaches either Time Eater or Solaris. I might buy him being the strongest foe base Sonic faced though. I also think you could have mentioned a few things that could make that argument better. Like how in Mania the Ruby was capable of hurting super sonic who even though classic would potentially be able to scale to Time Eater due to help fighting it in Generations. I would personally argue it's due to hax since the ruby was shown to depower Super Sonic in the true ending of Mania, but it's still an argument you could make. Another potential argument is how in a Sonic Channel story Eggman used the Ruby to give him his own super form capable of fighting Super Sonic which could scale the Phantom Ruby to Time Eater, Solaris, and potentially the End. I would argue it might not scale to infinite since this happened after Forces and Forces even implies that Eggman can use the Ruby better than Infinite. Anyway sorry for the paragraphs. Good episode!!! Hope you get to make more.

Everything was great here. Also Base Sonic has been shown multiple times to have surpassed is Super form. The main one people go to is with Generations having Base Sonic instead of Super Sonic face against Perfect Chaos and now in Shadow Generations base Shadow faces and beats Metal Overlord which took 3 super forms to beat so. Base Form Sonic and Shadow in Generations are at least 1-3 times stronger then their Super forms in and the game from SA1 - Sonic Heroes. And if people didpsregard that or choose to ignore it for any reason, Sonic in the 3ds version of Generations fought and beat Egg Emperor which could only be beat by the full power of the triple team attacks so that means Base Sonic is at the very least 3 times more powerful then his base in Sonic Heroes *at bare minimum*

Base Sonic is stronger then when he fought enemies like Perfect Chaos, but he's not stronger then his super form. He couldn't beat the Titans, they were hyped to be mountain destroyers, are planet level at best (The End the final boss of Frontiers I might add was confirmed to be only planetary by the writers), without his super form. And I might add, enemies like Perfect Chaos and Metal Overlord aren't uni, Super forms didn't have the uni feats, they didn't come in till Solaris, and their power is determined base on the amount of positive energy. So Super Sonic can be uni in one fight, but not the next. So Metal Overlord which took 3 (debatable) super forms to beat, is like 3 times planetary, star level at most.

As for your argument may i point you to the fact that Perfect Chaos and Super Sonic got the same amp in power with Chaos using all the energy of the Chaos Emeralds for negative energy and Sonic restoring them with positive energy. Base Sonic was able to handle Chaos' other forms with little difficulties as well as every other character so the jump in power means Perfect Chaos is to Chaos 1-6 as Super Sonic is to Base Sonic. That reasoning for the difference in power is stupid, I'm sorry but the Chaos Emeralds themselves react to what emotion you feel, not how much of an emotion you have otherwise Shadow wouldn't get the same boost in power as Sonic when going Super or all the pure evil beings like BlackDoom and others that used the negative energy would have infinite power. And like the video said mate, consistent Sonic vs "lore" Sonic is a wide margin in power. Consistently the Chaos Emeralds have been calculated to have Large Planet - Multi Star level power, regardless of how Base Sonic scales to that power he gains that boost of power to his base form. You have a right to your opinion but plz don't go around standing it as fact, I'm not saying all this is true, I'm saying it's likely and has implications of being true

Not really. Infinite's best feats are star level which is massively inferior to Sonic's higher end enemies like Solaris and Time Eater who got uni levels. And star level isn't THAT big a jump compared to other enemies fought. A grand majority reach planetary level, a few are also star. And all the major enemies Sonic fought, Sonic fought them using Super Sonic, which he didn't need to defeat Infinite.

@@22kingdomheartsfan At a first glance it may seem like Sonic characters don’t have crazy scaling but once you actually dive deep into the lore, feats, and statements across all the games, the Sonic cosmology has some ridiculously overpowered scaling that’s surprisingly consistent. Now if we look at Infinite, literally the first thing we are told about him is Eggman verbatim stating that he’s the strongest creation Eggman made up to that point (and probably still is since Eggman didn’t really do much in Frontiers). This would automatically put Infinite above things like the Egg Wizard and Egg Salamander, both of which have at the bare minimum Universal+ scaling, though a more realistic lowball would be low multiversal since Sonic’s universe alone is 4D (we know this because of the Fourth Dimension in Sonic Shuffle), and that’s not even covering the Sol Dimension. Eggman’s statement should also include Time Eater since it, like Infinite, is a being enhanced/controlled by Eggman rather than a pure machine. And Time Eater is AT LEAST 9D. Now as far as feats go Infinite creating Null Space alone is a super impressive feat since not even Solaris could do something like that. The phantom ruby was also stated and shown to be more powerful than the Master Emerald in a canon prequel comic to Forces. Now Sonic did not need to go Super for his fight with Infinite but like they said in the video they fought an increasingly weakened Infinite and even then Sonic had help (not to say he NEEDED help, but it was definitely easier for him with it). Though you could argue that since the phantom ruby is above the Master Emerald which is above the chaos emeralds, Infinite would’ve nullified Super Sonic anyways. Heck, in Sonic Mania (which is canon to Forces), the canonical ending of that game is the phantom ruby knocking the emeralds out of Classic Super Sonic and then transporting him to the future. And like they said in the video, Infinite is very easily immeasurable speed, since he’s faster than Sonic. The same Sonic would could not only move around in a space with no time but run fast enough to straight up restore time in a place where there is no time (Generations). Then there’s the fact that Infinite can create literally any illusion he wants without limit. He can create quite literally an infinite amount of clones of any Sonic character, a lot of which also have insane scaling. He can essentially warp reality to his will whenever and however he wants.

I have some suggestions that could be useful: Optimus Prime (IDW, Movie universe but accurate with novels and comics or Unicron Triology) vs Doom Slayer, Lucario/Mega Lucario (both anime, games and manga) vs Ryu or Xenoverse Goku, Megaman Star Force (games, anme and manga) vs Blue Beetle (comics, tv series and games), a Spider-Men battle royal from Shatter Dimensions (Amazing, Ultimate, 2099 and Noir), just ideas.

Pokkén Tournament) | Thunder Clash Interestingly: Surface lvl research shows this was an under the radar MU for both of these characters; the only Pokémon considered to fight Infinite being Darkrai. Being a Match-Up compiler; it's very cool & unique seeing a new 1 being introduced & brought to life simultaneously. Man I had this fight idea. In my head and I knew who would win this fight back they when I had the idea, don’t worry. Am not gonna spoil who wins, because no one like a spoiler sport. So instead I will say that the animation of awsome! I hope the animated gets hired by death battle when they come back, or maybe get hired by them in the future, I always wanted to do fights like this in my gmod show, but am still practicing a lot of thing. Amazing animation but. Though the outcome makes sense of statements it’s also kinda weird. Infinite lost to the oc and base sonic. Time eater required super sonic and super classic sonic. Infinite being stated to be the strongest of Sonic’s past enemies doesn’t make sense since he never shows that he actually is. Also while time eater is before time and space it does nothing to state it is a being that can destroy all of dimensionality and above which is what you need to do in order to be outer. Time eater is a complex multiversal being via being above time and space on a 3d plane. But shadow mewtwo can be scaled to Palkia and Dialga who are also above time and space. It really comes down to whether you take infinite being Sonic’s strongest enemy at face value or not. Heck eggman’s final death egg which is stronger than infinite lost to base Sonic, classic Sonic, and the oc.

Hello, hope your series goes well! As a scaler who's a big fan of Sonic, here's some disagreements & arguments I have for Sonic (only one of which potentially changes the outcome, and not the one you'd probably assume going in lol). (I will preface that I'm a high end scaler lol). --- Infinite being stated as being the strongest foe Sonic has ever encountered should not apply to Super Sonic. I know they're the same guy, but in terms of raw power Super Sonic is treated as being vastly superior to Sonic. And if you did take this statement at face value then it would just create a scaling loop of Super Sonic < Infinite (finalised prototype phantom ruby)

I loved the fight quality, dyamics and Animation put into this video. But respectfully, id like to state some other things as well 10:44 I disagree with Infinite being the Strongest Villain, as the Guidebook statement is too Vauge and Hyperbolic, neither has he shown any feats that would put him above the likes of Metal Overlord or Time Eater. Infinite should be severely weakened after his Sun Attack. His power was stated to be summered down after he summoned the gigantic sun in forces, thus finally giving Sonic the opportunity to properly defeat him. 18:51 Shadow Mewtwo can simultaneously counterattack Infinites illusions Via Double Team, where a Pokemon may constantly create clones of itself practically to the point where they are literally untouchable by boosting it's evasiveness. He can even Manipulate Gravity and Dimensions with the moves Gravity and Trick Room Respectfully to reverse Infinites Speed. And if you watch BW Anime Episodes such as Ninetails Vs Charizard, they can easily detect the real Illusion. There should be a video up on the Official channel. While Mewtwo Lost to Zygarde, that's an Completely Mewtwo. And there are infinitely Many More Mewtwos that could put up a better fight such as Giovanni's who is capable of defeating Serena's Zygarde from Masters EX, or In-Game fights. Stating Null Space isn't Enterable, even tho Sonic got caught within it and was able to move inside of it easily contradicts the Argument. I don't see how sonic going through Multiverses should Upscale Null Space. Did he tank the Multiverse or something? Mewtwos Speed should also be Immeasurable, as Pokemon can freely Manipulate throughout Space and Time on their own to different Universes when transferred stated in its Menu Info. They should also scale to the Creation Trio, which Cyrus stated they could be hard to create his own reality and rewrite it, Granting them Conceptual Destruction.

The video was absolutely amazing, and I don't necessarily disagree with the outcome, but I do think some of the high ends for infinite don't make sense (IDK much about pokemon so I can't really talk about the mewtwo side of things) Time eater existing before space and time really doesn't mean anything about its raw power, that kind of argument is a huge leap in logic. And taking the statements of infinite being the strongest enemy sonic has fought at face value is way too generous IMO, there's plenty of things that contradict that kind of statement that's obviously meant to hype up the character, so I really don't think that should have been mentioned outside of the high ends section, especially since it really wasn't needed to justify star level infinite. Also, saying nothing can enter a certain place doesn't mean someone creating it is somehow an outer feat. Still, I don't really think it's that much of a problem since you did describe it as a high end (I really think VS shows should do that more) and the animation was great.

I think you got a lot of things wrong; His clones being equal to originals (when you said this you showed shadow beating multiple of his clones), being the strongest foe sonic fought (just clearly not true), you got the tails statement wrong (he clearly said they would need to treat it like reality, not that it was brought into reality), infinite in fact does not bring any illusion to reality with only his null space being real, your takes on how mewtwos haxes would work is just wrong. Being able to make someone sense something does not mean that you are protected for them mindfucking you. I think there is a very sound argument that mewtwo could ignore the ruby's power due to his psychic powers.

I don't really know who would win since Pokemon are not remotely consistent with power levels, but the fight is definitely way more of a debate than what was showed here

I did like the Animation, but the way you handled the analysis was just meh. You didn’t give us enough information to make an educated decision on who was gonna win until AFTER the fight. Also, the voice acting was mediocre.
