Chomsky mentions both good and bad propaganda... The 'good' kind, as in education or business, is still a sort of brainwashing. He's so brilliantly fast here that I need to read his books just to catch up with myself. Fantastic mind!

Noam Chomsky seems to have a we vs them approach when it comes to the Zeitgeist of the last few centuries but humans have been living in oppressive structures for millennia. Any form of human organisation has been oppressive or even if it might have been equalitarian at some point it lead to an oppressive dictatorial system the more complex societies had become, which begs the question . . WHY?
