And another one I missed. I loved this song as a teenager. The whole album is dope. I still listen to it from time to time.

That T-shirt is for the Germs, an old Punk band that apparently was an influence of theirs. I can guarantee that Weird Al was not thinking of them when doing his NIN style parody. Guitarist Pat Smear of Nirvana and Foo Fighters fame came out of the Germs.

Excellent song. There is definitely a punk influence in their music.

again, 3 years late, no one may read this...blah blah...if you do, Hi, glad to meet you. Anywho...this is my most emotionally impactful Offspring song. I played it over and over multiple times a day in highschool. As a then undiagnosed autistic who just felt like a freak and an alien, who had endured a lifetime of emotional, psychological and physical abuse for being a "freak" , I hated myselof and still do. It's a deep scar I work regularly with a therapist to remedy. I hate no other human being more than I hate myself. Self destructive, loathing, cursing, abusing. I've been the protagonist of this song more times than I care to count. Always feeling it was better to suffer myself because it meant I really cared about the person...never realizing it was more and more proof that they did not care about ME.

@@hraefn1821 hi there, I see most comments, I also have experience with autism as both my sister and daughter have autism.. if this song helps you through the day then blast it loud and proud! 😁 Thanks for watching my reaction... I guess with the 'Anyhoo' that you're Canadian lol

Germs was based on Terrible Lie by Nine Inch Nails Edit: Mostly Terrible Lie... A little bit of Closer thrown in there. So just a NiN parody in general.
