Are you diagnosed with Osteoporosis and have no idea how it happened? It’s important to identify the root causes of Osteoporosis, which can be different for each person. But, there are some common factors, one of which is inflammation.
Now, we know that inflammation in itself is not a bad thing. However, a majority of all chronic diseases are linked to excessive or chronic inflammation, and Osteoporosis is no different.
Today, Dr. Tom O'Bryan and I talk about the effect of inflammation on our health and how different inflammatory drivers, such as food, bugs, toxins, and our lifestyle, could affect our bone health.
Dr. O'Bryan is considered the Sherlock Holmes for chronic disease. He teaches that recognizing and addressing the underlying mechanisms that activate an immune response is the map to the highway toward better health. He holds teaching Faculty positions with the Institute for Functional Medicine and the National University of Health Sciences.
He has trained and certified tens of thousands of practitioners worldwide in an advanced understanding of the impact of wheat sensitivity and the development of individual autoimmune diseases.
This is such an exciting and informative conversation, so make sure you catch today's episode of the Happy Bones, Happy Life podcast!

I tried to speed through this on my break. The title worries me if you didn't address the loss of hormones in menopause since that is the going to be the first cause.

I have traveled to Europe several times over the last couple years. I eat bread and cheese over there with no ill effects. I now buy flour on Amazon that is imported from Italy. If I were younger, I'd consider moving from North America. We have poisoned our earth here. 😢

I just watched this and went to the link provided for the docuseries and it appears the event is over. I have one simple question that I'm hoping you, Margie, can answer, as I know Tom isn't likely reading this.: Is there information in this docuseries on how to determine WHAT is causing the inflammation so that one can take steps to mitigate it? TIA
