It's interesting how I watched your channel for few years now, first learned about Milton Friedman from you, watched all his shows/lectures on KZbin that exist, read few of his books, and got inspired to create my own KZbin dedicated to ideas of Milton and others from Chicago and Austrian School! Couldn't agree more about Biden, inflation and Bitcoin. Thank you for everything and you deserve every subscriber you have!

Politicians don't understand about economics BECAUSE they REPRESENT the people living in their states, who ALSO don't understand Economics. They're better thant their people, but a sample of their population.

I wish I never went to college and just watched KZbin and how the economy actually works.

I've been a subscriber to your channel for 9 years... this channel is how I first discovered St. Friedman. I have read all his books, watched as many of his lectures multiple times. It is also how I got introduced to Hayek and Rothbard and all the others. I was immediately hooked and equate it to the Blue pill in the matrix.

Milton gets torn up a bit in The Bitcoin Standard. How do you respond to the criticisms of him in that book?

The die hard Austrian Economists are as stubborn as Von Mises himself. Milton touches on it here kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYDIiKKJe654mKs

Don't we all wish we had gotten in on BTC at the basement ;) I've always tended towards hard assets but I've finally dipped my little pinky toe into the world of crypto. I currently have a bit of savings in BlockFi what's your thoughts on their platform?
@NaNa-wj8tw3 жыл бұрын
Don’t be too hard on yourself i remember 2010 and BTC well- it wasn’t easily traded or obtained back then. Computer geeks were about the only ones who ‘got it’ and most had to be mined which wasn’t like now where you are all spoon fed easy to use apps and exchanges. They didn’t exist:)

I have a video about BlockFi, there are a number of red flags that give me concern. Do your own research, I personally use Celsius, and appreciate their transparency. As always don't keep all your eggs in one basket. $50 BTC sign up link celsiusnetwork.app.link/1634512332

@@BasicEconomics I'm thinking about putting a bit on Celsius as well. I went with BlockFi first since they allow the interest to be paid in a different crypto than the one in savings (it's in stable coin). I'm a neophyte taking my very first steps into this realm. I'll give that vid a watch :)
