I would suggest Roll20 for playing with distance, you can have both the video chat and you can make visual representations of everything. I've been using it for a few months with some of my friends and if you're willing to put some time into it, it works great for any tabletop RPG, i personally play GURPS 3rd edition but its set up for D&D AD&D or whatever you might want to play

Roll20 is pretty cool. The video is older and I can't remember where Roll20 was in development at that time. If I start another adventure Roll20 will be on list.

Hey, Bradley Harvey , it looks like a great way to game with your far-away friends. I already played RPGs through the web using Skype, but never tried with webcam before. In anycase, do you use maps and miniatures too? Do you think that the video can be combined with such features?
