I think the problem is that, in general, chinese tend to lack discipline at home. In fact, 90% of my friends think the same.

This is extremely heart breaking. I did experience and witness discrimination in Japan first hand but I also experienced a lot of positive things and met some wonderful people. I have to say that the majority of Japan isn't like this. As much as I hate seeing discrimination and racism, it is still his right to express his views as long as he isn't instigating violence.

Last I checked youtube isn't your personal diary lol. Airing your dirty laundry and sob story in Japan with no relevance to the video at hand.
@Tone2K11 ай бұрын
@bc92 What dirty laundry? I was simply relaying my first-hand experience that I found relevant. What sob story? The fact that I find the situation a sad state of affairs? No need for snide comment or insults. You can be mature and point out what you find from my comment that was irrelevant specifically or out of line. I welcome criticism but what you wrote was unhelpful. The video is about a person discriminating and being racist and one person calling it out. I said that I saw it myself but remind people that even though people like the shop owner exist in Japan, most are not this way. And although I disagree with the owner's viewpoint, I was acknowledging that the price of freedom means sometimes having to put up with viewpoints we do not like (given the police were not able to do anything about the situation). I fail to see where I said something irrelevant or where I was giving a "sob story". And what is my dirty laundry? I am genuinely confused at your response.

If u see the sign carefully it's said "people from China". So if you are Chinese from Malaysia or Korean who live in Japan you definitely can enter the restaurant On different video the owner take picture with Chinese who live in Japan
@sara.cbc9211 ай бұрын
Yes, it forbids Mainland Chinese entry. However the sign does not convey whether Malaysians of ethnic Chinese origin are granted entry. Also, the sign clearly states "Korean patronage/business is unnecessary" thus prohibiting Koreans. The photos of the owner you are referring to were taken with Japanese right wing groups not Chinese people. With one member highly active in promoting anti Chinese activities on social media.
@zi.d711 ай бұрын
@@sara.cbc92 no, the owner take picture with Chinese people and they allowed to dine in.. The problem is simple as where you from, not ethnic.. Because there is no english sign, if people can't read the sign it means they are not from China or Korea And many Taiwanese and Hongkongers support this restaurant.. isn't these people also Chinese??? Btw in China many signs said "Japanese and dog do not enter" and I think Japanese people don't make a fuss about this...
@sara.cbc9211 ай бұрын
@@zi.d7 you didn't specify which picture you were referring to, and you clearly stated "video" in your comment. And I presume you saw a video from another channel probably China Insider. In that pic the owner took photos with a Japanese right wing group of which it's leader is someone I know on X. Your 2nd paragraph has no correlation to your initial comment.

Due to the amount of requests, I translated and compiled facts of this incident from trusted sources. This is the full, uncut version different from the one in mainstream circulation. I remain impartial to the racial politics surrounding this case, and merely reporting on it. So please do not shoot the messenger. The case gets complicated so read on. A Chinese influencer who goes by the alias ''Oil head 46 points'' (bears a striking resemblance to Governer of Osaka prefecture Hirofumi Yoshimura) confronts the owner of Japanese-Chinese restaurant 西太后 (Empress Dowager Cixi). The 'master' of the shop had put up a sign that wrote, ''Chinese and Koreans are prohibited from entering''. As well as a side explanation ''To prevent the China Virus''「チャイナウイルス予防の為」After a tense arguement and getting the police involved, Oil head was initially unable to get the owner to remove the sign. However, in a following video he managed to get it removed with aid from the Chinese Embassy in Japan. His video was disrupted by a Japanese citizen whom he later dragged into the subway with the police called. In retaliation, the shop owner sought advice from Taiwanese and Hong Kong netizens. They came up with the idea of displaying Winnie the Pooh pics, Tiannamen 1989 connotations, HK independence posters etc in front of the restaurant. This is to prevent Mainlanders from taking footage at the shop as these imagery are banned in China and could land them in trouble. There were other Chinese influencers who mimicked Oil head but stopped after this strategy. This has become a high profile case with many Japanese right wing groups and even conservative assembly men getting involved in support of the owner. Hope we can all strive for peace, as they say ''When in Rome, Do as the Romans Do'' Pls Like and Subscribe~!
