Do "influencers" think they are like these fake pastors who claim they are anointed by God and everyone should listen to what they have to say? Do "influencers" think they are somehow smarter than everyone else and therefore their thoughts and opinions should "influence" our decisions. It is all completely stupid and arbitrary. It’s so weird when influencers get to the point that they believe that their efforts is 100% tied to their paycheck and therefore poor people must not be working hard. Like I know that successful people have to work to stay successful. My dad is an executive at the USPS and seeing him work long hours dealing with high stress and regularly dread having to meet face to face with the infamous (and verbally abusive) Post Master General Louis DeJoy, has convinced me that I don’t want to be a corporate executive. However, there’s definitely an alternate timeline where Dad works even harder and is even more stressed trying to support a family as an essential worker. Luck and privilege are huge determinants of where you go in life. I definitely wouldn’t be all “being an executive sounds yucky” if I wasn’t able to pursue my somewhat obscure degree on my family’s dime. I’m only able to take risks like that because I have a safety net at home.

@@titilayoesther4174 thank you, it actually upsets me a bit that my lifestyle isn’t the norm but I try to stay in touch with reality anyway. I kinda got my world rattled during the pandemic when I volunteered at a food bank and heard people would line up for hours in 100F heat for maybe $20 of groceries. I had just turned 18 and as I thought about it and considered how little essential workers actually make, I went from disbelief to straight up horror to resolving to be a more informed and charitable person. (My mom had pushed me to do the initial volunteering) $20 was an amount of money I could get from my dad with almost no questions asked but apparently that’s a lot more unusual than being stressed out about not having $20 for something important. And that’s kinda chilling but probably obvious to people who don’t have inherited wealth.

Every job has its issues, EVERY job. As a teacher, I at times do feel bullied or belittled by parents, management and sometimes, pupils. Parents that expect teachers to "teach pupils to greet", or other basic manners, when it's their own job. Teachers should keep the habits growing, not plant them in the children. The main reason for all this out of touch behaviour is selfishness, or as the Bible puts it "lovers of oneself". More and more people are starting to put themselves on high pedestals than what they're worth. They don't care for anyone but themselves and, 99% of the time, do not feel sorry but rather victimize themselves. Imagine complaining about placing TV'S in each room or how large one house is from the other, being insensitive to others. Yes, people are free to voice their thoughts but we should do so demurely, lovingly and respectfully. If we act on every whim then we are no different from animals. Of what benefit is it to gloat over your privileges (health, wealth, achievements...) in the presence of those in need? It can be done quietly and respectfully. Well, expect more vices to come out of people, as the world is turning away from GOD. They no longer fear HIM so, they behave without limit. I pray JESUS CHRIST has mercy on us all in JESUS name- Amen.

I get that EVERYONE has problems in their lives no matter your status but when they rant about things that are insignificant it irritates me. I was once in a situation where I had to go without eating properly for months just so my bills were paid and my kids were fed proper meals. So yeah bugs me when rich people complain about money. I even hate seeing those single mums on benefits tell everyone that they have no money yet they can go out and get their hair, nails and eyebrows done, where are their priorities and don't live above your means if you can't. Some people blow my mind especially influencers.
