I always ask myself if this really spiked out of no where or if we just didn’t have phones to see how many people suffered just like we did
@CassandraY8 күн бұрын
I believe it's because people are no longer being quiet about their suffering, whatever it may be. Also, another part may be that we understand these problems better so we know they are problems. Not really related, but similar. My grandfather is red/green colorblind but didn't put it on his military enlistment paperwork because he didn't know it was classified as a medical condition. That happened a lot during that time period and not just with medical conditions.

I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 20. In 2018, my husband and I tried for a baby and I had a miscarriage the following year. I was 28. We still kept trying though. I even had myself checked and the doctors said my eggs weren’t the optimal size. They gave me a prescription to help get them to the right size but still no luck. We decided to keep trying until I turned 35 and if nothing happens then we’ll still have each other. In January 2023, I changed my diet and became more active. No more processed food. Hardly any sweets. No junk food. No sodas. My periods started coming regularly but we already made peace that we were never getting pregnant. Then in September that same year, I had a positive pregnancy test! We were so fearful that I would miscarry again. Our baby is now 7 months old ❤

Even if you dont get allergies often or at all, mold can cause or contribute to these things especially depression, headaches, sinus problems, brain fog. Mold toxicity is rare but underdiagnosed. He didn't exactly tell me it was mold. And I read bleach & vinegar won't kill it if it is mold. My partner has debilitating headaches every single day. He can barely leave the house. My daughter & I thankfully haven't had any symptoms, but she's not even 2 yet & I'm scared this will affect her life later. I live in a shit low income apartment & I'm afraid if I complain too much, they'll want to get us out & find someone who won't complain. I feel stuck between a rock & a hard place. In case it's useful to y'all. I've had many of these issues for more than a decade. Most symptoms disappeared in like two weeks after I cut off a toxic childhood friend that I felt hugely responsible for because she was very emotionally dependent on me. Consider that this may be a possibility. These toxic relationships where you are always overworking, having to emotionally regulate another person because you feel emotionally blackmailed, cause stress, and that increases cortisol levels. High cortisol can cause many autoimmune issues and imbalances. I had never considered she was behind my bad health until I magically felt healthy again after going NC. It's been months and my health overall keeps improving. I can eat all the gluten and lactose I want without any issues whatsoever, no issues going nº2 AT ALL, no headaches, no fatigue, no trouble sleeping, no hair loss, etc. My skin completely cleared up, and it sounds like a joke, but even my keratosis capilaris disappeared. I think that we’re now free SAY we’re not ok is huge. I think a lot of women suffered with severe PMS, depression, anxiety, etc. prior to the 2000’s. First off, we were discouraged from talking about things so personal, and also considered “offensive” to men (and the public at large). But secondly, we have SM to talk it out to strangers and find others who suffer with similar issues. Yeah, our diets I think play a huge part. Same with our environment in general. I’ve seen that men are “now” having more depression and anxiety - but I think it’s always been there. It just wasn’t considered “manly” to talk about. In general, I feel like we’re much more aware of personal issues not being the taboo they used to be. And yes, COVID played a huge part in much of this. All we can do is take care of ourselves and each other as best we can. Thanks, Steph, for always bringing this stuff to us in a way that doesn’t feel patronizing, catastrophic, or shameful. No matter what deo/anti-perspirant, glycolic acid/benzoyl peroxide, antibacterial wash.. they would start to smell! And nothing at all worked for my face. I couldn’t understand why my body was doing this, and I felt like crap ALWAYS. Anyway, I learned that my levels were ok. The only thing that changed before the bad body stuff started? My diet! I started eating literally only sugar. Like sugary snacks/candies/pastries once or twice the day. No real food. I figured it was fine because I wasn’t gaining weight, but all that sugar was ruining my skin and making my body odor bad! As well as being tired all the time. Another pro tip: don’t hold your pee too much or else you’ll mess up your pelvic floor muscles and then you’ll become incontinent and won’t be able to hold your pee at all anymore. Also being constipated can cause you to be incontinent and pee yourself. So eat healthy fiber! And go pee!

@multifandomharlot8 күн бұрын
@@sarahjane4908 Your current situation was the exact same as mine. I also took a lot of Ibuprofen to deal with it. does iud even work for endometriosis
@hotpotts8 күн бұрын
Mirena is awful. It created a progesterone imbalance (b/c of the development of a dependency to the synthetic hormone from the IUD) that has taken YEARS of detoxing to _mostly_ balance out. Not exactly an innocent "girlie" thing. It's not really a solution either; especially if it's only helping you cope, not make you better and has the potential to make things worse.
@multifandomharlot8 күн бұрын
@hotpotts there is no current cure for endometriosis, none that I know of at least, so at the very least, I'm managing better with the Mirena IUD. It's not full proof, but it helps.

vitamin D is also sooooo important, if you’re not basically equatorial and outside constantly then you’re almost guaranteed deficient. even if you drink fortified milk! even if you’re assigned male at birth! low vit d can contribute to or trigger the onset of autoimmune disorders (Hashimoto’s, multiple sclerosis, lupus, Addison’s, Sjogren’s, type one diabetes, Crohn’s… anything where your immune system decides it’s going to eat some important organ or type of cell in your body) which afab people are also at higher risk for. but i believe the root of so much of this is stress. even my dad is constantly dealing with stomach issues from the stress of a family member’s current health situation. stress means you don’t sleep well, eat well, unwind, have quality social time… it takes away from what makes us human. stress keeps your body in fight-or-flight instead of rest-and-digest. society needs to change; the grindset mindset, exorbitant healthcare prices/shitty insurance coverage, and wealth disparity are killing the American people.

I am a doctor (neurologist) and I want to say that things listed in the video a very sad indeed, but don't forget that people usually don't share good things about their health. I don't think that you'll find many posts/video where someone will say: "Ah, what a beautiful morning after refreshing sleep, it's so good that my testicles/ovaries are not messed up". When people feel themselves good they take it for granted, and it should be like that, you just can't admire your proper body functions every second, you just have better things to do. I want to say that when videos like this show up in your feed you need to remind yourself that it's very small fraction of people who have problem like these, and they surely need proper treatment and support, but it's not everyone problem. Did your doctor indicate that the test results were indicative of an actual imbalance? I’ve read that you can’t really glean if you have a true imbalance from one test on a single day, that you have to do daily tests throughout the entire month because your estrogen and progesterone levels fluctuate all month.

16:03 Careful, this study is quoted a lot, and they rarely mention that the tampons have been boiled and only then they found those toxins. That concludes that we should not cook the tampons before inserting them. But when using a tampon as intended (without cooking them) there are no toxins to be afraid of. Best wishes from Germany, a highly regulated country when it comes to those things :)
@ciarakristos111Күн бұрын
But, logically, you would assume that those toxins must be present in the tampons to begin with, for them to be detectable after boiling the tampons? The toxins didn't come from nowhere. They must be present all along.
@temporarilynotavailableКүн бұрын
@@ciarakristos111 No, many chemical reactions only produce toxins when exposed to heat. The individual components do not necessarily have to be toxic.

the system does teach this. there’s resource sheets they can provide, a lot are in the self care aspect or mental health. it’s psychological techniques shared within DPT or even the nhs website. yeah I wish it was more streamline to access the information and apply it to your daily life, as sometimes you’ll still need assistance and you can ask for such

Omg, in November I went to the hospital because I could barely move! My left side near my liver was in so much pain. And since my husband had stage 4 cirrhosis when he unalived I knew I had to go be checked out. I had an MRI and they told me I had an obstruction in my gallbladder! And my viral load was extremely high. They wanted to admit me and have emergency surgery right then and there. I got a second opinion and ended up, not going under the knife cause I did my own research how some surgeons are just money hungry like “ it’s just your gallbladder you don’t need it!” So made some changes and ended up almost healing myself! The only symptoms I still have really bad fatigue and gained about 20 pounds.. It sucksss

Fun fact, endometriosis produces its own estrogen. Once I got my endometriosis surgically a lot of issues I'd dealt with since jr high disappeared.

They need to get rid of the FDA. Too many recalls and if a company is unable to provide healthy safe food to Americans they should not be allowed to operate 😊😊😊

Ladies change to the diva cup! Best switch I made. I have encouraged quite a few of my friends to make the switch.
