I'm currently on my first ever solo holiday at 29! It's been incredibly empowering but I also bought a cheap tripod thing from amazon with a Bluetooth controller so I could snap a couple of photos of myself for the memories. So far I've only done it twice in the quietest places I could find and both times took at least 15 minutes to check that the coast was clear to feel confident enough to do it! Totally agree that people being insane in public is hilarious, but people on their own just trying to take a photo shouldn't be filmed and laughed at for trying to capture a memory

I work at a store called Showcase that sells like viral tiktok products I guess (it used to be an as seen on TV store), and last week, this guy came in with a chick, and she was filming him showing the Austin Matthews or whatever Prime from the fridge. He was also telling her he got sent Beast Bars from Mr Beast's PR team when he saw them at cash. Actually pretty chill though, they turned off the camera when they got to cash so I didn't get filmed (I wouldn't have minded tbh if they asked but I do think it's super cool that they turned it off though), and he did look kinda embarrassed I saw them filming that, so idk what kind of influencer he is but that's the only time I've seen that that I know of. I've seen people film tiktoks in public though but I don't think that makes you an influencer lol.
