The book actually *is* a genuine "Dummies" book. It's a very good basic primer on injection molding. I've actually taught classes out of it, using the cube and some of their other teaching aids, when making sure people knew what the injection molding process was all about before teaching the class on Autodesk Inventor's mold design module.

Also, wow- that cube looks like shit compared to the ones they were giving out back in 2012-2013!

I think this one is quite old. I used to have loads of them, but then came the students... Must have a look at the Dummies book. I was quite impressed by their website content. Another couple of useful resources are the ResinEx "User's guide to plastic" (www.resinex.co.uk/get-the-book.html), though not sure about it's availability around the world. And also the DME website has interactive 3D images of many of their mould components. You can slice through them to view the internals which is quite neat. @@andyharsley Pretty sure I picked up a copy of the ResinEx thing at a trade show some years ago.

The amount of variants in that sample is mind blowing , process of that part must have been a headache.

Making it is not too tricky, biggest worry is getting it done and then thinking "you know, I should have added that as well..."
