@@kingol4801In reality, it really was Wonder Woman egging Superman on that made him cross the point of no return. If Batman had been there and not treated Superman like the ultimate threat (which he was in the right for doing to be fair), Clark could’ve possibly come back from this. Would’ve probably exiled himself but he definitely wouldn’t be the over-the-top control freak invading other dimensions child murderer we got.

The main people Egging Superman on were Sinestro and Luthor. Sinestro came on the scene in YEAR TWO whilst Diana was still in her Coma. When she came out of it the die was already cast for Superman thanks to Sinestro's influence. So prey tell how she egged him on when she wasn't even there? All she wanted was for him to take a firmer hand. Be proactive and not just Reactive. Fight for change in Sociatal change not just for justice. Hey, ya gotta start somewhere. Sinestro gave him a yellow ring. She made him take it off.

@waterpillar1977 Hold up. I just finished reading this comic in person and Diana was literally telling Clark not to listen to Jon. She even told Cyborg to be on standby in case Jon's words really did reach him. So yeah, Sinestro did some of the leg work, but she was still influencing him, keeping him a dictator. In reality, even she could talk some sense into Clark and make him see reason but she chooses not to and encouraged his dictatorship. I love Wonder Woman and what she stands for in the main continuity. She's my favorite character in DC comics along with Prime Jon and Damian. But that woman...is not our Wonder Woman.

I love that the second Clark sees Jon’s face, that’s the beginning of the end for him. There was a part of him that knew that but still kept in denial. Jon didn’t change Clarks mind all at once. It was a progression of tiny realisations that he wasn’t ready to admit to himself. People have told him that Lois would never approve of what he’s done but because she and their baby are gone he could always shrug it off. Now he has to confront why he’s uncomfortable with Jon exploring this world without him there or talking to civilians who experience this world as their lives. Now all of the compromises he’s made to get to where he is that he’s convinced himself he could live with are giant black marks of shame if his son sees. Still he clings onto the idea that Jon will vindicate him, tell him that he understands why he’s done this. He’s desperate for his son’s vindication. In the end superman is made to feel as low as dirt when he son tells him that he does understand and it’s still terrible.

@talon532 I've always hated Tom Taylor Jon Kent Superman, ( Never earned it shouldn't have aged him in the first place, kara, Steel, connor Even jimmy olsen earned the mantle more before Jon Tom taylor rewrote his personality to make him into this new nightwing character for the Superman family) So I definitely have a bias, But yeah anti climactic end thing and frankly anti climatic story altogether. The confrontation with ultraman was ended by By having in the actual star Injustice Superman snapped his neck so we don't have to talk about that ( Giant part of Jon's history and character that no one ever deals. With and thus makes his ascension and success as superman feel artificial as hell) anymore. New powers , let's go around pointing out everything that's wrong with injustice universe , an anti Climatic fight with his dad that ends with At him hugging That's psychotic yesterday and said I don't know, does he use his powers to knock him out, Maybe take away the powers annga bd Ozai. No, we can't do that. The story takes place in the past so we know Jon can't actually change or affect anything. This entire Mini just feels like it was excuse to have Jon kent do something else that Has popularity tied to it so people will read it. Kind of like when they made him kiss a boy the issue after they met, no hinting that he was even and romantically interested Or the complexity of a person discovering his bisexuality (I'm bisexual, It's a process, that like many things for jon DC skipped over for marketable success) So yeah, Don't take my opinion as valid, I will always hate jonathan kent as superman especially if tom taylor's writing him.

Never was a big fan of that climax in the game, since it toss aside all the drama and ideological conflict and turns Injustice Superman into another generic villain who is easly defeat by punching him. Even JL cartoon did this type conflict better, with main Superman by making a tough decision to defeat his evil counterpart (lord Superman), showing that he's capable of making hard decision but not the point of corrupting his ideals or choosing the extreme method like his other version did.

Jon Kent would actually be way more adept than his dad with using his powers. Superman was self taught and his powers developed over many years due to a psychological block he unintentionally imposed on himself. Jon had no such block and was trained from a young age by not only Superman, but Batman, Wonder Woman and many other heroes as well. This training would have resulted in him becoming one of the most capable superheroes in all of fiction from a very early age.

@@cosygoose1813 kryptonian dna doesn't get watered down by human genetics. To my knowledge the only kryptonian/human hybrid who suffers from decreased powers is the young justice version of superboy and that could largely be because of his genomorph origins. every version of Jon Kent is shown to be just as powerful as his father. if he were trained not only by his father but other embers of the justice league as well (like batman and wonder woman) he would likely be the strongest character in dc comics. also, show me one person who can out punch superman (and doomsday doesn't count).

This is a great story and Jon just became my favorite Superman. This is high level writing, Jon is complex and doesn’t solve extremely volatile problems by just punching his way through them, despite having the power, he’s the picture of self-control. It makes him appear all the more powerful and confident. Yet peaceful and compassionate, a great Superman. It’s so sad that comic “fans” can accept relationships between humans, robots, symbiotes and aliens but if it’s a same sex couple that’s where some draw the line. They’re so blind and stupid that they can’t see that they’re bigots with a very low bar to clear. Jon’s relationship is handled tastefully. There’s no reason to dislike it other than misplaced hate for someone different.

Say it happened between years 4 and 5 or whatever you like.... they reference Green Arrow and Black Canary so it has to be after that but otherwise you can place it wherever you like as a side story that we never saw in the original run, because Jon didn't really change anything. We don't see if IJ Superman changed his views, we only know that Damian doesn't want his father to die, but he never switched sides. In this story, Jon did, or almost did, in 24 hours what Bruce and the others in i justice couldn't. Reason and show compassion to Clark. One thing I really hate about the world of I justice is how characters just escalate situations or can't put down their own ideals for the sake of ending this conflict. Bruce couldn't lay down or look outside his no killing rule to show compassion and understanding for clark. When he needed it, everyone else either encourged or condemned clark on his dark path. All jon did was talk sense into him by not judging or supporting him. He was fair

Batman's ego doomed the world twice, and both times he traded Joker's for the world. After Clark lost everything, Bruce NEEDED to end the Joker before Superman got to him; he needed to take the metaphorical bullet and break his rule so he could save his friend. Instead he decided to be sanctimonious about it and treated his friend as an enemy instead.

Something really hit a nerve when Harley explained her mindset during the Metropolis incident. "It was Superman, you know? He always find a way. I just thought it was a game. I didn't think Joker would win." It's no sort of justification for her part to play in anything the Joker does, but it does open up a bit of how she sees her back-and-forths with the heroes. Sure, she's fighting for Joker because of her unhealthy love, but it seems like deep down, she depends on the good guys winning, because perhaps she doesn't think she can count on herself to do any good. She knew all along she was on the wrong side and sort of rationalized it like a friendly competition where she can still have fun if she loses, but didn't realize it until, for the first time in a game with a lot of stakes, her side won. And the consequences of that properly set in for her.

I feel like her facing and dealing with the fact that she had a hand in making their world and universe such a horrible place adds a unique level of intensity to her story that is complimented by the way she tries to maintain a sense of humor through everything. You know, having Jon go into the injustice universe is a brilliant idea. Although I wanted to see the end result.

There is a loophole. In here, Harley sees Lex and knows he's on their side, whereas in first Injustice game, which happens way later, she's unaware of his true allegiances.
@BiteMe5664

Clark's anger at Harley is 1000% justified. She is just as if not more responsible for the deaths of Lois and his child than the Joker is. And the best defense she could come up for herself is that she fell for the wrong guy?

The problem with Injustice is that there is no conclusion. They are just dragging it on and on

They drag it on because theres many years between them and they need to set up the characters. Injustice 1 and 2 are fine. And actually make sense. The comics are something else.

John Kent ... I really like him. He's the best of both Superman and Batman. His method of investigation was brilliant, he used a completely outside source to get an unfiltered opinion on the situation. I really like how John beat everyone. He used force when needed, and his wisdom when necessary. The amusing part is that The "Justice Lords" never stood a chance against John Kent, only plot device saved them.

This is the Third time DC has tried to destroy the Injustice universe. It's like they are Jealous of anything popular that doesn't come strictly from them which would explain alot. Now I can see why Netherealm skipped Injustice 3 even though the fans want it badly.

This was such a waste of potential its not even funny but just sad and just proves my point I was right keeping Jon kent aged up doesn't work, also what was the point of having Jon fight ultraman if he got killed by injustice superman because that doesn't give Jon closer its the exact opposite and just throws away a interesting story for injustice crossover that goes nowhere at least in my opinion.

He sees her as a victim. and, compared to the JL members, kinda trivial. Not dangerous. A thug with a bit of psychology, no sense of self worth, and therefore no sense of self-risk. One who (and even in her own shamed words) never really believes Joker's plans will succeed. That people will *really* be hurt. She is mad. Insane. She only ever obeys her abuser... until one day she doesn't. The day she walks away. Fights her way away. And, as her arc has progressed over the decades, has shown some (only a few but some) redeeming qualities. Maybe even hope for something approaching sanity. She really isn't worth one of his elaborate plans. Just a solid punch in the face, and a straight jacket.
