Hahah... we won't click away Sal! We still need you! This sounds like a totally solid product! The app looks good and straightforward to use, especially for custom settings. Love that you can monitor from anywhere as well! Our multi-probe remote has been a total game changer for us, but it's nowhere near as fancy as this. Being able to look back through your own past cooks is an amazing feature! Thanks for this Sal!

I bought this after watching your great video . Do you know if there is a way to configure the app to notify you alerts when the phone is locked or the app is in the background? I get alerts when the phone is unlocked and the app is in the foreground, but not otherwise. Thanks !

Are you using iOS or android? I haven’t had any issues with the iphone alerting me when the phone is locked. If you are using iOS, go into your notification preferences and make sure they are turned on so you can receive when phone is locked.

Beauty review. Lots of questions about the alarms. Can you turn off the base unit alarm? Nothing worse on an overnight smoke with alarms going off outside while i rush to turn off the alarm. Can you customize alarm sounds, volumes, etc on the app so i don't give my wife a heart attack in the middle of the night?

good questions. You get alarms on your phone and on the unit. The alarm on the unit can be muted with the app. there are no volume settings as far as I can tell. It's a fairly loud beep. The sounds on the phone will allow you to customize the type but the loudness is determined by your actual phone volume. putting your phone on silent will mute the sounds on the inkbird app (using iOS)
