I think St. Marq's heart will be a muddy blob in 5 years. He did a no linework King Tut on someone else and it got really blurry in a year and the canvas came back for a retouching, and he still added little to no linework. Even Dave Navarro said "Is he going to rework a blurry king tut, with a slightly less blurry image of king tut?

I still have mixed thoughts about Earl's elimination because Kruseman didn't even try the challenge. And he won the title, even though he was playing safe most of the time. Not surprised that everyone asks for a full season with blind critiques.

The reason why they won't do that is because it takes all the 'drama' out of the show. While I agree that the show should just be who does the better ink but people also like to read it because of the drama between everyone and the coaches.

In my opinion Kruseman shouldn’t have been an ink master winner. Yes his back piece was phenomenal but that doesn’t mean he should’ve won. And as bad as Earl’s tattoo was he tried his best. Kruseman didn’t which is why I think he should’ve been sent home.

Everyone always felt bad for Kito, sorry to say, but I don't. Yes, I agree that some of the canvases were nuts, especially the koi fish one, but to be an ink master, you HAVE to know how to deal with difficult customers, and Kito clearly didn't know how to properly deal with his canvases, because if he had, he probably wouldn't have been in the bottom so much or eliminated for that matter.

Well, the tattoo is just "meh". It's not one where you assume on the first glance that it's the first tatto of a 15 year old kid. But if you consider what is possible and how great a koi tattoo could look like, it's bad. The water is only dimly recognizable as water because of the color, the flowers look somewhat detached and randomly thrown in, the scales lack detail. If you could get a great back tattoo of a koi fish for 1000$, then this one would be like a 300$ version. It's not horrible, but just lacking so much compared to a really good version.
