nice, is it possible to distribute those shapes along the snowman, or say a vertical line object.

Hi please help, I want to do this, have a square and a drawing I want to place the drawing into all four corners centred I am making a pattern, so needs to be precise and the fourth one in the centre of the tile. So they need to be half on half off the tile corners.

I have a stupid question. I have not figured out how to do so and maybe I just didn't notice. Is there a way to take something I make and wrap it around a something as a border or some such? Like a puppy with a leash that i made which is straight wrapped as a border or outline?

@soldadopreciso3 жыл бұрын
Thanks pal. One question, How could you put the 2 corners of the start (5 corners tar) in a way that touch a horizontal bar shape? the same way with a vertical bar shape? I understand that the shapes doesn't know about orientation, and when a rotate to 0 degrees they always return to the initial position of creation. That result in another question, How can we add a horizontal or vertical references to the shapes, in a way than we can establish the exactly horizontal or vertical position? Thanks in advance

@juditkiss99653 жыл бұрын
I don't know but the font alignement section icon (or any equivalen) is missing in my version 1.0.2
@alf7571 Жыл бұрын
One thing is missing in this video. The distribute with a specific value for distance. Illustrator allows that. Does Inkscape also allow ?
@SamChaneyProductions3 жыл бұрын
Thanks, I really can't understand why all of the possible dialogue options (like the Align and Distribute dialogue) aren't in the "view" menu under "show/hide". You have to go searching for each different one all in different menus. It's maddening. The whole point of a "show/hide" menu is to be able to control what parts of the application are either showing or hidden.

I tried saving them into my documents. pictures, folders, export, as a pdf and it's saved on my desktop. But for some reason after its save on the desktop the icon turns into google icon image however, i was able to view the pdf form in word but partially. I even emailed it to myself but the files are unable to open also.

I selected Selection Area and hit the same buttons but it is either the square or star that moves - not the star within the box. And when I deleted the square the star sometimes leaves the page outline. Is there some default setting or something that I need to change?
@TJFREE5 жыл бұрын
Maybe change away from 'Selection Area' in the Align 'Relative to' drop down. Try Relative to: 'first selected' then first click on the object you don't want to be moved, then shift+select the object(s) you want to align relative to the first. Hope that makes sense, and helps.
