Thank you for the information. I would like a video about how and how often you clean your bearings. I've never dared!

Viktor, what's your thoughts on practicing with worn out wheels , that way you will put more efforts , increasing the body endurance , and this help when you on race day with brand new wheels? Is this a fair/valid hypothesis ?

Tough one.. While one could get a little more out of it effortwise, I'd still prefer fresher wheels, as it's closer to the race feels and also allows one to skater better technically. It would also add a little safety due to the extra grip :)

Although I liked the cross section wheel and spoke explanations, the title isn't really what I expected of the vid. But still; nice info...

Came here for this video after one of my expensive MPC wheels split open revealing the red inner core. I didn't hit or run over anything - only 1 wheel (of 6) had any issues. I really expected these to last longer - has anyone ever heard of that? It was like a 2 inch gash that exposed part of the red part. I finished the skate on the wheel and it was fine but I'm definitely going to replace it. Just never thought it could happen.

Hello! Is there a big difference between x-firm and xx-firm? I'm thinking of updating my Hydrogen 85a wheels to Hydrogen Pro x-firm or xx-firm wheels. Size 3x125mm. Is there much difference between these? I'm a big guy (95kg) and also an ice hockey player. My goal is an inline marathon under 2 hours, and my average speed on 20km trips is usually between 21-22km/h. My top speed on the flat is 39.6km/h. Great channel, by the way!

Would you recommend using firm wheels for marathon race on the roads?

How many kilometers do you skate on 1 set of (training) wheels before they wear out? (let's assume XX-firm)
@thorupviktor3 жыл бұрын
Depends on the surface. Generally 600-1200km :)

Which one would you say it's better, Matter 125mm or Rollerblade Hydrogen 125mm?
@sjuns51593 жыл бұрын
Gotta keep in mind he's sponsored by rollerblade now
@Sarlock323 жыл бұрын
I’d say it depends on the model of the matter wheel, the hydrogen pro looks really good though

I can't wrap my head around why a softer wheel and hub will somehow make you faster or keep speed longer
