Picked up a 3100 at Canadian tire 100$ off. Cost was 120$ Canadian. We have 3 cars with lights on. It worked good found a bad coil a abs sensor and burned out plug. Saved me a lot of time and money. 👍

I bought a 3100f model a while ago. It works fine, no issues on a couple of domestic cars I've tried it on (2008, 2004). I bought it sometime after 2008, so the codes were up to date. I say probably in 2009 it was bought. If I buy a newer car that can handle OBD2 (e.g. 2015 model), do I have to update the 3001f due to new codes that have been developed? Or maybe the unit does not need updating because the codes have been set in stone from the beginning? I've installed the little diagnostics program but cannot find anywhere that points to an 'update' of codes for the unit. Please advise. Thanks.

The cable is included? I have nissan frontier 2001 my ABS Light in my dashboard this will work for my truck and nissan quest too 2001?

Hello James, The cable to link to your DLC is included in all of our Code Reader and Scan tools. The tool will relieve Powertrain codes from all OBD-II certified vehicles, including Nissan. However the ABS feature is designed for most GM, Ford, Chrysler and Toyota vehicles. A tool such as the Innova Pro 31603 with the free Asian ABS & SRS upgrade will retrieve ABS codes from Nissan.
