Fucking hell Nakaya-San drives like mad man. I can totally appreciate his footwork, precision and steering control. 10/10

back in the days when people argue *SUBBIE OR EVO* good old days

Smh. That was the debate. I remember when Mitsubishi dominated wrc. Then they must have went a different route. Then subaru dominated. Then the evo was discontinued some years down the road.

@@ac.initial.d.project7940 evo never dominated wrc. The evo has like 21 rally wins while the wrx had double the wins and 3 times thr manafacturer titles.

Wish they came to the states so I could have easily have driven one. Japan and other countries seem to get so many cool cars and trims levels not available in the USA 😢
It's probably hard to switch between these cars doing these test even though they are all awd they all handle very different. It was funny to watch him handle the Subaru and losing a lot of time fighting understeer when it requires a more slow in fast out approach than the others. Entertaining nonetheless

He is a professional racing driver who did sustansially better in evo lap times compared to the other presenters. I dont think he dosent know how to drive a subaru fast.

@@suxo7221 I've never heard of the guy in this video. Nor is he a WRC driver or anything. The STI is not made for circuit racing. The EVO isn't either, but it naturally is more suited to circuit racing than the STI is, and this isn''t a controversial statement, it''s generally well accepted. They're different cars and they handle differently, again there is nothing controversial about that. STI needs to be driven differently than an EVO does. Watch Tommi Makinen (a professional racer who has driven both EVOs and STIs at the very top of competitive racing) drive an STI on the Nurburgring and the way he drives it is very different to other cars. He turns in early before the turns to let the car roll or understand around it. This was in an essentially stock STI. It's not too dissimilar to what he does in the WRC STI though, by using body-roll, which you can see on the video where he does the togue in the snow on Hot-Version Vol. 67 - Touge Strongest Legend Special! Feat. Tommi Mäkinen.

I wonder would all the cars use the same tyres in the tests.. The older yallow subaru stlll looks the best..
@WannabeWRX5 жыл бұрын
They run with the tires that are factory for the car. Best Motoring very rarely will change the tire except under certain circumstances.
