You're right about hearing the engine noise over the exhaust it sounds so much better with a good exhaust. I've got a 22 mt10 I'm getting ready to do this to good job and good video.

Only thing il say is if you reuse the graphite seal and clamp that came off the stock muffler it may seal up that gap in your new slipon and make it secure.

You should try buying an exhaust for a BMW s1000r... Minimum name brand for full exhaust is about $2300. I got a Leo Vince shorty for $250 and chinese titanium link pipe for $220. They sell the clone full exhaust for like $400 and theyre basically the same thing

my mt-10 had that same link pipe with a "sc project" ebay slipon when i bought it, they dont turn blue, theyre just so loud that it causes hearing damage even with ear plugs fuck these things for real. Just get a real exhaust or a decat link pipe with stock slipon

Last week there was a guy with a built engine full exhaust he only pushed 190hp and this was a live dyno every one saw those numbers I was this close on on buying a 2500 full exhaust after what I saw I was like na I’m good on these bikes are not made for crazy hp power cat delete and a tune is best

So you still have the exhaust on ? How do you like it ? Did you bike heat up running Lean and no tune ? Any issues you can share ?

I think the exhaust is awesome for the cost. You do lose a little power in the low end but nothing major. It runs normal and never showed signs of over heating. I sent the ecu off to get it tuned and it should be back this week. Be looking out for the video!!!

@@maarrsseelli I have an ebay akra on my fz07, the exhaust sounds good but don't last like the real exhausts, mine has come apart at the rivets a couple times. Still better than spending $1k+ for a real one tho

No I never did. I originally thought it was going to rattle but it never did so I didn’t worry about tighter springs

Some exhaust systems can run you close to $2000. I love the way mine looks and sounds. You won’t have any regrets.

Your mustang looks and sounds awesome but I’m still waiting on that R1 exhaust and flash update. My son has ‘22 R1 and thinking of getting it for him cause the others are so dang expensive. We ride together and he is so quiet lol

I’ve tried on multiple occasions to record a motovlog with the new ecu flash and exhaust. The audio when I’m riding is trash and all you can hear is wind so I scrap them. When I figure out another method for audio I’ll record an update and post it

No the engine light never came on. I got it tuned shortly after replacing the exhaust
