I noticed caution lights on various builder units. A nice eye-catcher. The commander blinks 2x when he finishes a move/build order, now, and it and some other units have a front-facing light to quickly ID them. There's heated barrel glow on Berthas now, (let's face it.............they're Berthas) and some units have death anims.

Thanks for selecting this unbelievable game... I think that, just after Zerp began his legendary assault, what sealed the deal was that the enemy's Ragnarok was targeting his spearhead - and its very imprecise fire turned it into Zerp's own close fire support, even demolishing friendly structures all around. If I may hazard just one suggestion: please zoom out a little - sometimes you focus on one small, albeit spectacular, corner of the battle and miss the forest for the trees. Also, just how many kills did that Ragnarok rack up ? I wish you had selected it during the battle to take a look !

Nice cast, a step up! I liked careful game analysis, u didn't seem to miss anything and made for careful telling of the story of the game. ;) Yes, new graphics kick ass, especially when balance stays the same.

18:00 While the geo explosion was pretty, that didn't immediately make east team win because that didn't really kill west's eco when there were so many other players doing eco in this map. You could even see Daymus continued building or even finished his FUS without problem at the backside. I would imagine Zerpiederp's second bombing run could be more deadly if he bombed the players at the back instead. 22:50 That's just a tactical missile. Nuke in this map can create lava pool. A bit surprised that no one actually built a nuke in this match but that would end the game much quicker and we won't have this wonderful replay now. 1:04:14 Looks like zaidka's bots destroyed an AFUS and caused the chain reaction.

they don't build nukes because anti nukes are so powerful... With one single anti nuke you can protect yourself against like 10 nuclear silos... They fire and intercept super fast. You can make them inoperative with an EMP missile, but you gotta know where it is... And the range is insane too.

I know this is old but at 1:04:14 I think the detonation was caused by friendly fire, not the bots themselves.

Pretty epic! Those big laser towers look really dope with the new effects. The colors you were having trouble with btw: salmon for the muted pink color and periwinkle for the light blue.

Just found out about this game last night. Don't like the bubble blower building animation at all, but the gameplay is impressive, lots of potential. if GPG had released this as SupCom2 and I would have been very happy with it. The bubble blower animation is like that cause that's how it was in TA. I wouldn't mind the 'bubbles' moving significantly faster though, the slow moving particles looks kinda jank.

What I really would wish for is the option to have weapons fire (or at least just the lasers and possibly plasma shots) be in your chosen team color. If readability is a concern for the BAR team I would just put it in the game as client side option. That way everybody can make a choice if they want to see the laser's power levels or it's origin more easily at a glance. Options and customization are always king to me.

Game was EPIC ! Talking about complaints you got, I think you miss the action because you're often too much zoomed in. Having like a LLT shot covering the whole screen is too much zoomed in. This does not pay tribute to the scale of the game. We have huge battle but see only a few area of it, often only shots going from one side of the screen to other side, we can't even see shooters and targets. This is disappointing. I mean, going like the player at 42:00 would not be good either, but something like you did beetween 43:00 and 46:00 had been really better. Other thing, I don't understand why you always set UI OFF. The UI is really light in this game and does not prevent good game readings, and when you set it off, not having radar and health bars prevents good game reading in my opinion. Thanks nonetheless for the cast :)

I think it is pretty refreshing and periodically focus on the spectacle instead of reading the game with stats non-stop. Comparing to f.e. casts of tourney, which often involve a lot more grand-views of the battles, I think it's refreshing to see more spectacle-focused casts. TLDR: I had a blast watching this with all the UI off shots, and periodically turning it back on when needed.

Desktop is always better, better join their desktop and ask there, i only know that intel integrated graphics is not enough. i have 1660super and it works great on it

I have GTX 1660 Super + Intel i5 6500 3.2GHz. Played 6 friends vs 2 AI and it's fine. But with a lot of units, projectiles etc. the game can slow down. The biggest FPS killer is Raptor (Alien chickens) defence ;> At the end there's so much stuff going on it's tough! Also the game loads really slow from my HDD. Gotta use a SSD :=)

Great cast here. As another comment said maybe you are too zoomed in. I can see you are using the camera and switching between closed-in view and overview as if it's TA. You can try just keep the camera at a higher level so you can show more at a time, and don't be afraid to just zoom all the way out continually. After all the key point of adopting TA into these spring engine games is we can zoom out all the way as we like...

I loved the zoomed in views. For showing off the spectacle as good as possible, I think Total Annihilation Cast did an awesome job. For tourneys, or more analytical casts, you are right though!

most basic units are based on TA with slight differences (around 150) and then there is 250 more units that were developed thorught the years, some of them based on TA player mods, some made from scratch.

The problem with the motion is the zoom... You're forced to move so quickly and so often because you are limiting the view so much. Pan out at least 50% or more and you'll need to shift less, to cover the same space. Sure, some finer details are lost... Pick and choose which engagements to temporarily zoom in for and it's largely moot. I am finding it really hard to appreciate watching this as a result. Sure, individual battles are fancy to look at, but the overall war and the context of each battle is largely lost, due to such constant limited view, coupled with such frenetic camera movement.

Hey man, don't slow down the action please, part of the fun of the game is the hectic energy and slowing it directly blocks this. For example, the chaotic air raids would have been better to watch had they been full speed to showcase how crazy it is to endure one. Just my two cents

I was hyped for the next big Supreme Commander game until 2 seconds ago. Why is it so overly cartoonish? I really hope they choose to move away from the super slow moving projectiles and just straight up blobs for everything. I thought Planetary Annihilation was kinda childish but this takes the cake for Wii tanks vibes. Unfortunate...
