The roti canai was so special because of the two soft boiled eggs mixed with the curry/sambal sauce. Pisang Goreng is similar to Turon in Filipino side. The Dosa Crepes must be savory based on its dipping sauce. Indian Claypot Rice prepared its food differently from Cantonese. They cooked its food in the Claypot, then added the cook rice at the end to stirred it altogether. Chris still has a tablespoon the only utensil of that curry chicken with that banana leaf meal. I'll give a thumbs up when they offered him that huge coconut drink.

For the banana leave rice, locals determine the amount of rice and curry served (i.e. we tell the server to stop when we've had enough). We can usually "tambah" (add on) rice, curry and the side dishes if we want more (i.e. extra serving). This practice is also not to waste food. Enjoy your stay in Malaysia.

For those first time eating rice with hand, 1. Use only the first 2 digit of your washed right hand fingers, food should not touch the palms, 2.Mix a little souce or gravy to rice from the edge of your plate of rice not from the center. 3.Start mixing and eating from the corner not from center.( scoop mixed rice with fingers and push food into mouth with your thumb.) 4) .pieces of chicken, fish, meat etc, should be placed on the edge of plate, not in the center, 5.Lick your fingers to avoid looking messy. 6. Enjoy your meals 😋 Btw, Never use left hand to bring food to your mouth, (Use only left hand for ' Toilet swap').
